There is one simple sentence Trump has to say to make the GOP support "Make America Great Again"

It's quite simple really. He tells the GOP that if they don't want to support what the voters voted many of them in their jobs to do, "in 2020 I will run as an Independent".

It's simple and it means game over for the GOP if they are going to side with the Democrats in any deliberate interference in the Will of the American people. It's also a bit of a dirty trick and should only be a last resort measure and I hope it never gets to this as BOTH parties should be patriotic Americans who respect the Will of the People!

I'm very analytical about politics since following it, and it would seem to me that Americans want him to address the following, generally in this order I presume:

1) Trade. Meaning NAFTA and unfair trade practices from China and the like
2) Healthcare. Repeal is done. Refinement and vote is next.
3) Illegal immigration.

If these policies are in conflict with his own party. They had better get used to being a minority government until 2020 and losing the presidency then to possible an alt-left socialist and certainly at least a far left progressive.

This is the political reality. They understand it and deal with it, or, they accept the fate that the Democrats will determine on their behalf in 2020.

You are analytical?? So stop referring to Trump's election as the will of the people. Trump won because of the election system, not because a majority "willed him". Your analytical mind doesn't seem to grasp the concept that your viewpoints aren't necessarily the best for the country, they are opinions, not to be confused with facts. Nore does it seem to grasp the difference between your wants and those of the American people. You talk about they being equal, but I can promise democrats would put down different priorities. Neither do I make your mistake by thinking those priorities, as universal or shared by everyone for that matter.

So, now you question the electorate system? A system envied by many. In replace you would rather New York and California decide who wins every election so that every comrade they want to win will do so.

The electorate college is heavily skewed for the Democrats, it's still a better system than one based on regional identity politics heavily favouring high population states to dictate to the entire country.

If only living citizens voted and only once then NY and CA could not determine the victor in any national election. citizen only Voter ID would remove the safety of many safe D districts within the Blue Wall. NY and CA provide ID to pretty much anyone with ID that does not contain citizenship only safeguards.

The GOP should have bit the bullet and thrown him out and made him run as an independent. He was unfit to lead the nation then and he is unfit now.

Don't be ridiculous.

You're talking about rump and the Rs. They speak the same language and there's only one sentence they both would understand

"Where do I send the check?"

But not as unfit as the other candidate most particularly Hillary.

You RWNJ Pootarian traitors always hide behind the same lie.

And it IS a lie.

The worst of that is you know. You knew it before you voted and you know it now.

That's how much you hate the US and love Pooting.

Find a new lie or

:anj_stfu:

Better yet, just

And don't ever forget.

This is YOUR fault.

Least fit of them all. Okay maybe not that Jill person, but even the stoners from the Libertarian Party were more fit to serve this country than that guy.

Kochist Cavalcade of Clowns Tooting Kazoos

The winning Populists should expel the Birchers. That anti-democratic clique got drummed out resoundingly in the primaries; elections have consequences. Their KochHead Messiah, Scottie Herbert Walker, flopped and fizzled on tiny digits. They were a non-factor, yet think they own the Administration. They can go join the Lizardtarians or some other wackjob political masturbation.

I think it was John Oliver who did a mash up of quotes and on air statements by Jill Stein and others. Anyone who saw those would want her out of the country. Seriously. I wanted to like her but she's certifiable.

Watch her You Tube songs .....................................

How you figure?

Everything you guys said you hated about Hillary Clinton, Trump is now doing in magnitudes of a thousand.

You need to understand the reality of the situation. Trump won because he was not Hillary Clinton. He did not win on his agenda.

The Republican healthcare bill is a disaster that likely will cost Republicans the House in 2018. Voters do not support it's repel, they want it fixed. The Republican bill gets rid of 2 things that have the highest support among voters. Pre-existing conditions and helping low income people to buy insurance. The Republicans are using the money to pay for tax cuts for the rich.

Voters do not support building a wall. Exit polls showed that.

If Trump is the Republican nominee in 2020, he will likely go down to defeat anyway. The question is whether Republicans will go down with him. Even if Republicans wanted to remove Trump from office through impeachment, Democrats probably would not go along. They want Trump as the Republican nominee in 2020.

Lol the electoral system is somewhat of a joke in all parliamentary democracies. There is literally no other democratic country that has a system for 'winning' while at the same time losing the popular vote. The argument that votes cast in California or New York are somehow to be deemed less valuable goes completely against what a fair election should be. What's stopping you from making the argument that Democrats votes should not be allowed ? And as to your last argument. You won the house by 1,1 percent. This translated in 8;8 percent more seats United States House of Representatives elections, 2016 - Wikipedia
In the senate the difference was 8 MILLION for the DEMOCRATS. Now I'm perfectly willing to admit that the numbers are skewed here because of both California and New York being up. But by what weird math do you figure the electoral system is skewed to the Democrats?
