There Are ZERO Children In Poverty

Biden solved child poverty!! Awesome to find out first on USMB from Independentpostername. Biden should win a Nobel for this.o
I'm probably a heartless gop bastard when it comes to blaming the gop for not renewing covid benefits for school lunches (and breakfast) and child tax credits for non-workers .... but then a truly nonsensical thread comes along. lol

So, you can't show me the financials of minors?

Very enlightening.
Most the time someone is poor because they choose to be poor. They can't help themselves. That's why so many lottery winners lose fortunes in a year or less. The poor want the lives they lead. They just want it more comfortable. The poor are poor for the same reasons they are fat. They don't think sacrifice has value.

I keep on hearing the left constantly saying that children are in poverty and we need to do this and that to lift them out of poverty. A bill is passing through Congress right now which the left claim will lift millions of children out of poverty.

BUT, the fact is, there are actually ZERO children in poverty. Let's define children as anyone younger than 18 and I challenge the left to show proof through financial records of children less than 18 that they are in poverty. Children under 18 have no financial records, nor do they have a financial net worth. In pretty much every single case there is, if they have any income from working jobs they also have zero debts, which gives them a positive net worth because children under 18 can't owe debts. So, assuming that most of these children don't work, they still have no debts and can't possibly be in poverty. They are children.

Now their parents, that's a different story. You can argue that we need to lift the deadbeat parents out of poverty, but children themselves cannot be in poverty. So, when the left claim that this and that will lift children out of poverty they are actually lying because it is lifting deadbeat parents out of poverty, not children.
lol this is such a ridiculous point you’re making. No one is suggesting that kids depend on their own income. You’re not actually making a real point with this. It’s not like it’s thing worldwide for children to not be dependent on their parents.

It is mathematically impossible for all poor people to become not poor. The opportunity for a better paying job is way too competitive. The job numbers aren’t there for it. Even if they were, who would be left behind to do all those service jobs vital to the economy? Poverty is inevitable regardless of motivation. It’s basic common sense to accept that.

I would say the only exception are children of crack and heroin addicts. That’s an issue that really took off in the 1980s with the rise of radical left-wing politics which includes anti-Americanism. The 1940s and 1950s study show hard-core drug use was all about eradicated. And we had a much better nuclear family for black and white in those days. A better middle class as well.

As soon as the left embraces the truth that the Indian, the white man and the black man all owned slaves and engaged in warfare, then we have a better society.

Most important thing would be proud of your ancestors where you come from …reject the victim mentality

Common sense is that people will never be equally poor or equally rich.

Give a person with the motivation of the poor a modest bonus. They might go out to dinner, go shopping. Take a couple of days off work.

The person who will one day be rich will save it, invest or pay down debt.
