There are no good police officers.

Actually there is a lot of irony on the topic. When interviewing some protesters you hear, "blaming all protesters for the rioting of a few is ridiculous." Of course they are saying this while protesing all police for the acts of a few bad ones.

There are no good protesters.
Have you hated the founders of this nation for a long time or is it a new feeling?
The founders didnt realize that democrats would consider burning down cities to be "protesting".

They most certainly did.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.

You're off your rocker if you think that Thomas Jefferson would agree with what democrats are doing today.

Yeah? Tell me, what did he mean then?

There are no good Marxist-communists. That means almost the entire Democrat party is evil. God forbid these totalitarians ever get control. Effin losers.

He didnt mean, "burn shit down when a useless hood rat gets killed by a bad cop".

When people say that this is what they mean.

Here we have a Sargeant (OK, he is a good guy) blowing the whistle on police brutality and what happens? He gets was stripped of his police powers by the system.

The name sounds Hispanic. He was apparently fired from a white male Democrat department. Hispanics in the U.S. are always held to a harsh double standard of Democrat leftist politics under a strict Code of Omertà, not allowed to be conservative like whites.

The Caballero is fired because he failed to tip his sombrero to the lady. And there's always a "lady" who demands "respect" under that code — whether or not she actually exists or has any relevance to the situation at hand.

But in any case, no, he cannot reasonably expect to continue working in that department when his fellow officers are accused of murder by him and likely to murder him in retaliation.

So some dude running a liquor store is a tyrant?
What about Walmart? The Quickie Mart? The local Walgreens?
Those destroying those businesses are definitely tyrants.

Why couldnt he have done it without breaking protocol?

He did the right thing. No way that video gets released with a fight in the courts for years all while this officer stays on the street.

Hopefully public pressure gets him re-instated.

That said, there are a lot of good cops out there doing very dangerous work. Yes, there needs to be a change in culture, in that cops/unions/bureaucrats need to stop protecting the bad apples.

While I hope he is given a full pension...the risk in my opinion is too great for him to return to work in Joliet. Perhaps he can return to police work somewhere a bit less corrupt.

You didn't get the memo?
Yes, but I trashed it.
At the time it would have been a felony to be in possession of it, and a person would still be in prison for it, even if the laws and circumstances have changed.

It is getting to the point where obeying the letter of the law, and presenting paperwork and oral arguments in court are no longer an adequate defense to arbitrary arrest and imprisonment.

We have to fight a bloody and brutal battle to stay out of jail, stay out of prison, stay out of the mental hospital and out of the psychiatric wards.

Every day our enemies in law and our enemies in court are waging war against us to imprison us, torture us, and kill us at law.
