H1-B is a very simple program that was never intended to displace American workers. In fact, the employer must demonstrate that no American is available in order to have the H1-B visa approved.

EVERYTHING you read about the program presumes that American employers can just hire a foreigner if he thinks he can save a few bucks, or get someone who is a more motivated employee.

The level of cynicism is total. Why is no one filing formal complaints? Maybe the program is being implemented as intended.

I would expect that TRADITIONALLY, the deep state dem operatives, just got the message out, to go though the motions and any complaints would be punished.
