Then they came for us...

Clearly, Republicans are working for "voter suppression".

Clearly, Republicans put the welfare of corporations ahead of helping Americans, which the party of "let him die" sees as "socialism".

Clearly, Republicans are even targeting women who have been raped.

Clearly, Republicans are slashing funding for education.

Clearly, the first step towards a "national religion" is a "national language".

Clearly, Republicans have targeted gays for decades.

Clearly, the right wing has attempted to force their religion on us again and again.

Clearly there is a war going on. Right this minute. Republicans against America and the American middle class.

Clearly RDean is a Subversive working for the North Koreans. ;)

He is a failed Fiction Writer, that has lost his way between reality and his special place. :D

Next, they're coming for those of us who refuse to feed the health insurance industry.

Except liberals and progressives are not Marxists.

Where did you folks go to school?

Liberals maybe not, but progressives are Marxists light.

Be fair, not all liberals or progressives are Statist Progressives. I concur, all Statist Progressives are Totalitarian and Hostile towards that which they have no credibility, influence, or control over.

Not all Democrats are liberals and certainly not all Democrats are atheists. Take a look at the Blue Dogs. Look at the black and Hispanic churches.

In fact, it's difficult to pin down the "majority" in the Democratic Party.

You could say it's the 65% white. Then look at those whites. White Hispanics, gays, rich, poor, educated, uneducated, atheists, religious and so on. Where is the majority?

Now let's look at the Republican Party. 90% white and mostly Christian.

So what does all this mean?

Historically, when you have Communistic or Fascist movements, they are exclusionary. Meaning they want to get rid of the educated. Or those of another faith or color. Which party could we consider "exclusionary"? The one that's 90% white that's against gay rights, women's rights, that want a "national language", the one practicing voter suppression, slashing education or the one with enormous diversity? Reason it out.

Next, they're coming for those of us who refuse to feed the health insurance industry.

No. Republicans have already told us what they want to do with people without healthcare. "Let them die".

There is not a single thing there that's not factual. In a way, I feel bad for your "type". The denial. The fear. The hate. It's quite sad and pitiful.

only in their damn mind.

No, in reality.

Gallup Polls & Other Surveys on American Attitudes Towards Atheists - Over 40 Years of Research Show Atheists Are Despised, Distrusted

Liberals maybe not, but progressives are Marxists light.

Does it ever occur to any of you to back up any of these claims with reason or fact?

True. But how else can a party like theirs win an election?

Oh look. Someone else who is ignorant of history and that the nazis, socialists and anarists of the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries called themselves progressives!

This "judge me by my intentions, not my actions" crap is getting really long in the tooth.

Hitler's movement arose after WWI, not "at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th Century".

There is no such thing as an anarist.

Some socialists might have called themselves progressives. Who can back that up with a link? Certainly not you, you've yet to do anything but post your untethered thoughts followed by an emoticon.

They came for the woman who had been raped and sought out an abortion.

They came for the college professor and the teacher who wanted to teach science.

They came for the scientist who warned of man made catastrophe and birth defects.

They came for the college student who wanted a job.

They came for the atheist who refused to bow down before mystical beliefs.

They came for those that speak a different language.

They came for the artist who gave us enlightenment.

They came for the man who dared to love another man.

They came for the women who dared to love another woman.

And finally, when only Republicans and Conservatives were left, they looked around at the "Heaven" they thought they had created and discovered they were in "Hell".

Bump. :eusa_clap::eusa_clap:
Thanks for illustrating your further ignorance of the roots and basic philosophy that formed progressivism and their bastard offspring and philosophical heir, fascism.

I'd say educate yourself, but all the schooling in the world is wasted on a rancid turnip like yourself.

Oh, and bumping anything by Hairnet also goes to prove you're hackishly gullible too.

I know, I was going to say almost word for word what you said, Fitz (except rancid turnip..my term was a little different) but lacked the energy.

What a wonderful use of irony! Comparing one's ideological opponents to animals, insects, diseases, or to something that disgusts the senses, is of course a fascist tactic. :eusa_clap:

Carry this further and you can see how a political party, like the Republicans, with a base that's 90% white, mostly Christian and highly motivated by race, could be easy pickings for fascists or those that lean towards fascism..

It's a tribal movement. Right and wrong are not defined by morality, but by being inside or outside the group. Good is what is inside the group, bad is what's outside the group-even acts like torture and murder are good or bad based on group membership. Members of marginalized groups can join them, but only if they attack the other members of their own marginalized group.

So implying sarcasm and irony is a political tool to shut down opposition?

Huh... really?

So what is Stephen Colbert other than a fascist stooge. Or Jon Stewart? Or every other leftwing crackpot comedian making hay off of mocking conservatives since 1920?

Calling you a hypocrite is not a compliment you know. I wish I could attribute knowingly useing Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, but I don't think you are even aware enough to realize what an innefectual tool you are.

Here. Enjoy some more humor about you at your expense.

"Morality" is actually a sliding scale. Not that it's "defined" by morality, but a new morality is defined by right wing extremism. And I believe you are correct, it is "tribal". And the Democratic party being a coalition party is the opposite of "tribal" unless you look closely at the individual components. But those Democratic tribes are small. They are forced to work together.

You make attacks ineffective when you laugh at them. Conservatives attack reason. Laughter is the best defense.

I seem to have rendered you even more incoherent than before. Which is saying something.

Oops, I missed part of what you were saying. Yes. I agree.

Actually, the Democrats won that battle. The insurance industry laid out their demands and Obama delivered. They'll have their pound of flesh!

Unless of course the Court comes to the rescue, but they've not exactly been reliable on confronting corporatism.

Hairnet... the day you use reason is the day your food service employer will up you to dishwasher from fry handler.

Wow Hairnet... you have a fan. Would this be a 6% of the 6% of the 6%?

I better check the weather channel. Hell must have frozen over.
