The Worst Presidents in History

Do you think Trump would have let Rome burn?
If you're suggesting that Bush didn't do enough to warn about the impending dangers posed by subprime mortgages, I guess he could have talked about the subject in every State of the Union address, held press conferences on it, did one or two special TV addresses to the nation on it, etc. But, he did do quite a bit to warn about the dangers posed by what Feddie, Fannie, and FHA were doing, in addition to backing legislation to impose more controls on Freddie and Fannie. Could he have done more? Yes.

Coming from you is proof that it's spot on.

Thanks for that confirmation.
Yeah, never mind that Elon was giving a Roman salute and had no intention of mimicking the Nazi salute. Yeah, just never mind that little fact.

You realize that Elon has invested in Israel, that the Israelis have sought his assistance in resolving the hostage crisis, that Elon has made Tesla superchargers free to use in Israel, that Elon has donated money for Israeli hospitals, and that Elon has halted $400 million in aid designated for Gaza, right? You know these things, right?

Not at all. Carter did many good things for America. He was the most fiscally conservative president since Eisenhower. He boosted defense spending every year. He cut huge amounts of federal regulations and pushed through massive deregulation. And on and on I could go.

Donald Trump has made history as the second-worst president ever.

President Donald Trump’s approval rating is sinking ― and not even Fox News can spin it.
The right-wing network, which is usually a safe space for the MAGA faithful, on Wednesday shared its latest poll numbers, which show the president’s approval rating is now far behind every other 21st-century president at a similar point.
Trump’s approval rating is 44% at almost 100 days in office, compared with 54% for Joe Biden, 62% for Barack Obama and 63% for George W. Bush at the same point.

The worst in the 21st century according to the latest poll numbers.

We need a photo of the DNA stain on Monica's dress to bring TDS lefties back into reality. Is that a photo of William Henry Harrison who caught pneumonia on inauguration day and died. How did he make the list when he only served for a month? Americans have been conditioned by about two hundred years of propaganda to admire Lincoln for "preserving the Union" when the Union fell apart under his watch and FDR has survived scrutiny for his notorious EO 9066 that authorized the incarceration of American citizens based on their ethnicity.

Another gaggle of liberal historians making it clear that objectivity is not part of their analysis.
A historian without objectivity is not a historian but a propagandist. That is why I believe no era should be evaluated until all its participants are deceased.

At the time, the internment of Japanese Americans seemed like a rational decision to some. The federal government was deeply concerned about sabotage, espionage, and even potential guerrilla warfare. What can I say? War is seldom pretty. If we can prevent ourselves from descending into barbarism, we’re doing fairly well, I would say. However, the internment of American citizens was not necessary. Perhaps it would have sufficed to require them to move to the center of the country for the sake of national security.

If the notorious E.O. was used on all Japanese Americans and German Americans it might have made some sense but it was restricted to mostly California. Big FDR doners in Ca. made a fortune by buying up Japanese property and goods at bargain prices. The notorious E.O. might have "seemed" like a rational decision to Americans who were filled with anti-war propaganda but it was a bad decision that should have cost FDR his presidency if it wasn't for the mainstream media. FDR had an ace in the hole in the Supreme Court with a former KKK member he appointed (Hugo Black) who wrote the majority opinion justifying FDR's actions.
