1. Why am I expected to tip when I am already paying for something? I don't like the whole "ok you buy something from us and then pay extra on top of that based on a percent". So if I order a 5 dollar item I'm expected to pay an extra percent of that 5 dollars. If I order something that is 100 dollars and it's the same size I'm supposed to pay a percent of that also when they are doing the same thing?
2. It's the employers job to pay their employees enough, I paid for that employee when I bought the item to begin with. My part of the transaction is done when I buy the item, it's not my job to also pay the employee.
3. What about truegreen. How come we don't tip them? Those guys load up a truck, drive it to my house, unreel the hose, spray my yard, reel the hose back up and leave. But we don't tip them? The people with the easiest jobs want tips.
4. It's taking people items and groceries. A middle school dropout can do that job. It's equal to stocking shelves at Walmart. If you don't make enough money doing that then you need to find a new job. Even minimal ambition can get you more money. Even driving a forklift would triple your pay. You can make good money without a college education. Anyone can do well for themselves with responsibility, and ambition.
People like you breed lazy, self centered, dumb and selfish people. You tell people that just delivery groceries "you don't need to work hard or improve yourself. You deserve to work a menial job and get paid very well for it. You should make a living wage pouring coffee at Starbucks. You should make a lot of money doing the bare minimum."
You're entire argument is nothing but enabling people to do as little as possible by putting all this importance on delivering groceries?
You're the terrible person here.
