Maybe she SHOULD sue. Maybe that would open the floodgates for lawsuits against pundits on BOTH ends of the spectrum. All these people on both ends of the political spectrum on teevee and the internet who do nothing but distort and lie and attack and make our divisions worse by the day.
Yeah. Go ahead. Good luck. I'm not terribly fond of lawyers by and large, but this would be a good use for them.
That is the bit in Europe we don't really get...
Generally speaking, if you are caught lying on TV, they ask you to apologise to the audience and you might not get invited back...
European Audiences are pretty shocked at the way various Israeli Government Representatives are brought on US tv, spout a bunch of lies and clear off.
Where is the Palestinian (even on CNN or MSNBC)... Meanwhile over in Europe if they come on TV they get proper questioned... No spouting of lies, the interviewer is well researched on his brief(something we find unbelievable in US News) and soon as they transgress they are pulled back..
Yep, this is factchecking and you bet your ass it is done live in front of them and they will hold up the evidence and call you a liar to your face and when open your mouth next you are asked why do we believe anything you say... The interviewer has a card blanche to pull you all over the place unless you apologise for a mistake straight out.
this is an oldie but a goodie:
Imagine is senior MAGA was treated like that, Democrats would find that hard...
This one below had US send an official complaint to the Irish Government:
I think the Irish Government kind of said, "What can we do about it?'

Trump never really gets this... He shuts down interviews, calls people names,...
