The wife and I are enjoying the old TV series "Northern Exposure".

Last I checked. . . Prime Video isn't free.

:dunno:

Yes, it's silly and quirky but it's entertaining and sometimes thought provoking. Life in a small Alaskan town. It's free on Prime Video.
I remember that old show. Was not bad starting out. Got a bit bad toward the end. Also tended to portray a small Alaska town as a bit too backward.

Ah yes. Northern Exposure. Where the Hollywood left went into the great northwest cold to hide their tiny cocks.

I remember the show.

We're into the 2nd of 6 seasons. It's a fun watch all we are looking for. Cinema buffs would probably poo-poo it.

To be fair, having a subscription to Prime just gives you the honor of watching commercials for TV and renting stuff for money. It sucks for streaming now. I’d cancel it but my wife lives for shopping.

uh. . . . you pay to watch, AND they make you watch commercials? Do I have that right?

And TBH, I have never been with a girl that wasn't hard wired to shop, so, meh.

I've watched that series while in syndication and own it on dvd. We just finished watching the entire series on Prime about a month ago. Great show filmed in Roslyn, WA.

Yeah I saw the "go add free" option. I just hit the mute button and diddle on the laptop when commercials come on.
I am so use to add free entertainment on Netflix, Prime, Britbox, Masterpiece, and Comcast (recordings), I would never go back to Ad sponsored TV. I stayed in a hotel last week and tried to watch TV. I just couldn't it. 1/3 of each hour was commercials.
