The USA divided into 3 distinct groups

Yeah, yeah

everyone hates the other side these days

The other side?
Aka anyone who does not agree with you

Oh... ok.

So you think the blob is going to “fix” the system that made him rich?
I dont think being rich is a condition that needs to be fixed

That government policies clearly favor the rich...what about that?

I agree there should be limits to the special treatment

in my perfect world the rich would get no special treatment or tax breaks

but neither should the rich pay a higher tax rate than the poorest person in America

and the poor would not get tax breaks such as the EITC either

Hmmm...

myself (and I assume you as well) and everyone I know personally has SS taxes taken out of every paycheck they get from their employer. Every check, every pay period.

the rich don’t pay a cent after they have made, I believe, $137K for the year. You make $300K a year, you stop contributing SS in June.

Sound fair to you? Does that need fixing?

Not too sure what you're saying here. Should the cap be removed? If so, should they receive more when they're eligible for SS?

Do you want the government to pay mike bloomberg $1 million a month in SS ?

because SS benefits are based on how much you pay in

So since some would pay more, they should receive more?

Soo,
  1. You can have crazy BEHAVIOR, but not crazy IDEAS. o_O So then, being a "nutter" is a purely SUBJECTIVE descriptor and since that is the case, you are a NUTTER to me, because you are intellectually disingenuously more concerned by your own definition with FORM rather than SUBSTANCE.
  2. Picking a tribe and sticking with it (your terms) even because they are simply more right more often on more issues is intellectually lazy and cowardly (your words), so in effect, you favor diversity of opinion and action FOR ITS OWN SAKE even when the results do not justify it!
Now I expect Mac you will claim you never said any such things, but if you were half as bright as you think you are, you'd realize that this is exactly what your statements imply!
Cool, I'm a nutter.

Anything else? I'll ask you the same thing I asked Mac-7: Please get all your bitching out in one post.

My opinion is clearly much more important to you, than yours is to me.

Just get it all out.
.

Why you are so well regarded here, Mac, you think everyone should listen to your self-righteous, self-proclaimed superior views, yet you are openly dismissive of everyone else. You don't even acknowledge, weigh, nor debate their points.
Great. Done?
.

Nope. You are. You've lost ALL credibility. I'd put you on Ignore as an utter waste of time, but your perennially vain, arrogant, dismissive claptrap is just too entertaining. You're the living proof that one DOESN'T have to espouse radical or extreme polarizing political views to be a NUTTER.
Mac1958 thinks everyone else who does not agree with him are the nuts

Especially funny because the centard won't personally take a solid position on anything that really matters.

I see, take more so they can get more...brilliant plan.

Taxpayers don't pay the rich to procreate yet they pay ShaQuita and Guadalupe to produce more of their filthy same...does that make sense in LibTardia?
The rich pay more than 80% of all collected taxes...while nearly half of Americans pay nothing in income tax...Is that fair in LibTardia?
The rich are forced to provide the citizens of other nations with free healthcare while broke pieces of shit paying nothing demand they do...Make sense in LibTardia?
I could go on and on if you need me to?

I have found a little about Mac1958 today

he leans a little left but not enough to join the democrats

he’s waiting for them to come to him

There are two easily identified groups. First the peaceful republicans who demonstrated for their 2nd Amendment rights in Va. and who are associated with the MAGA red hat wearing supporters of the President. Then we have the insanity of Trump/America haters who assault old men wearing MAGA hats, refuse to serve republicans in a restaurant, assault conservative speakers on college campuses and on the street and disrupt the fabric of society with foreign based propaganda. Both are easy to spot and the dwindling number of haters are far from normal

I dont think being rich is a condition that needs to be fixed

That government policies clearly favor the rich...what about that?

Name three “government policies” that “clearly favor the rich”.
I’m standing by.

The tax code. The tax breaks clearly favor the rich. The more money that passes through, the more write offs, the less their effective tax rate is. Not all the breaks are bad however companies that make billions may not pay any taxes and that is a problem. If we were to eliminate some tax breaks, it would help the debt.

You pay a sales tax for bread but not for buying stocks or bonds. That clearly favors the rich. Again, not advocating for more taxes but that is a policy that hits the poor harder than the rich.

The rich pay a higher tax rate than the poor

even after the tax breaks

The USA divided into 3 distinct groups

1 - The Bernie Sanders whacked out socialists

2 - The Donald Trump whacked out cult of reactionaries

3 - Normal people

The majority of the US population are normal but the whackos are winning in politics.
Normies...next to the authoritarian left you're your own worst enemy
