The US is trending towards authoritarian government under Trump.
Review the basic characteristics of a government heading towart authoritarian ism and the US is experiencing almost all under Trump,
If a left wing zealot is elected next, they will have the excessive powers to do what they want.

What are the top elements of the authoritarian playbook?

  1. Divide and rule: Foment mistrust and fear; actively scapegoat and pit groups against each other.
  2. Spread lies and conspiracies: Actively promote mis/disinfo; undermine the public’s belief in truth.
  3. Destroy checks and balances and undermine institutions: Quietly use legal or pseudo-legal rationales to gut institutions (bureaucracies, courts, electoral institutions), undermine their independence, and weaken opposition.
  4. Demonize opponents and independent media: Undermine the public’s trust in those actors and institutions that hold the state accountable.
  5. Undermine civil and political rights and criminalize dissent: Actively suppress free speech, the right to assembly and protest and the rights of women and minority groups; restrict NGO activities.
  6. Blame minorities, immigrants, and “outsiders” for a country’s problems: Exploit national humiliation while promising to restore national glory.
  7. Deploy military forces to address public security problems and/or declare national emergencies to seize unconstitutional powers.
  8. Reward loyalists and punish defectors: Make in-group members fearful to voice dissention.
  9. Encourage or condone violence to advance political goals: Dehumanize opposition and/or out-groups to justify violence against them.
  10. Organize mass rallies to keep supporters mobilized against made-up threats: Use fearmongering and hate speech to consolidate in-group identity and solidarity.
  11. Make people feel like they are powerless to change things: Solutions will only come from the top.

Give the Guy credit .
He was put there to introduce Digital ID whilst furthering the Greater Israel Plan
And he is doing exactly as requested.

Control and Manipulate . Or , Manipulate and Control.

You collectively were conned by a devious and powerful group .
It's a bit late for bleating ,

Here we have watched the Left give more and more power to the Oligarchical Swamp creatures over the years, and want even more power given to them cuz authoritarianism is their wet dream every night. Hell, you can't even shovel snow in Marxist New York City under your new Marxist Mayor without an ID.

And when I see you loons protest something like guns, wanting to have the government snatch them all up so that only the government has them, and then in the next breath watch you call Trump Hitler, the man that runs the said government, I just have to turn my head and smile.

What idiots you people are.

What in the hell are you talking about? Trump is taking charge and you call it authoritarian. He was voted in by a democracy and he is being president through democracy. That's what a democracy is.

Lockdowns and shot and mask mandates and preventing freedom of religion are not authoritarian? 😂

Okie dokie.

Just the warm-up for 2.0

Energy and Food Shortages .
Works wonderfully well for Violence and Mayhem and excels when applied to Depopulation .

That is certainly the Theory .
Now watch to see how it plays .

Trump has reduced the power of government domestically by cutting taxes regulations and firing 300000 useless government workers. Thats the reverse of an authoritarian who increases domestic power. Trump has increased the power of our foreign policy resulting in a total change in the balance of power in favor of America. Russia Cuba Iran and Red China have been driven back by kicking them out of Venezuela and destroying Irans religious fanatics in the Middle East. This is exactly what a president should be doing. Less domestic government more power directed against our enemies in the axis of evil.

Democrats when in power increase taxes write thousands of oppressive regulations meant to manipulate us, expand government, and insert the state into every personal aspect of our private lives. Thats what an autocrat does.
You have it backwards

The US is trending towards authoritarian government under Trump.
And it’s not just Trump.

Republicans have helped facilitate authoritarianism.

Congressional Republicans refuse to check Trump’s un-Constitutional excess and overreach; a Republican Supreme Court has codified unitary executive dogma increasing the scope and power of the Imperial Presidency.

And Republicans at the state level have advanced authoritarian legislation hostile to a free society.
