The US and China have agreed on a deal to help resolve the trade war

What results are you seeing?
Well the 145% tariff didn't go into affect until this past Friday, fking two days before the agreement. You know this right? Tell me you researched that first?
I haven't seen ANY results so far.
how would you?
Just a lot of smoke and mirrors, and Trump backing down, time and time again. And Trump lying about all of the plants being built.
nothing was in affect until last Friday? how would you see anything in one day?
Trump is now on TV saying he's "reducing prescription drug prices" by Executive Order. That's after he tossed out the "Inflation Reduction Act",
:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Finally
which LEGALLY reduced prescription drug prices.
do some homework.
His EO will be tossed out because the drug companies will take the Administration to Court, and it will be declared as unConstutitional, because Trump has no legal authority to rule by EO.
sure he does, you should educate what EO's are.
Biden legislated cheaper drug prices, and he succeeded in lowering costs.
do some homework.
Trump signed an EO and wiped out those deals. Now he's trying to tell other nations that WE have to pay more for our drugs.
about time
Trump has no power to tell other countries what to do.
he's not doing that, he's telling pharma to give US the same pricing as the rest of the globe. fk canadian, do you ever do homework before you run your shit?

NOTHING IS SIGNED FOOL. ANYBODY CAN "SAY" ANYTHING. THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE JUST DOG AND PONY SHOWS.

SHOW ME THE DEALS!!!
You are always full of shit. Today is no different.

They could give America a 10% surplus on your exports it, wouldn't matter, China exports 5x the amount you do, they LOVE this. DOGE savings not ratified by the GOP, debt ceiling raised $5 Trillion, Putin not agreeing to a ceasefire, war in Middle East still going, Iran dragging out negotiations, China now getting Trump to back down dramatically. I surf youtube on many China related videos and they and their bots are elated at 30% tariffs,.China definitely views this as a huge win and their citizens will now cheer the CCP again. As one guy said in essence, "China just needs to drag this out. They should demand America abandon Taiwan in order to negotiate, the U.S would do so". Sorry, I support Trump and his courage but I will give credit and be critical on wins or loses in his policies. He dropped the ball on this and his team looks weaker now, uncommitted, their leadership of the EU and others wont hold water nos. If Reagan had to face the communists he wouldn't have backed down, that's for certain. All of the hope for Trumps second term may dissipate quickly, listen to how loudly Paul Ryans Fox News will celebrate this. They are manipulating him with polls for.Wall Street instead of winning with Main Street
Shocked,

We don't sit on the same side on many issues, but I see a way outdoor Trump...

Trump could simply say that he want US to join the CTTPP. With the recent uncertainty (caused by Trump) they might really fast track this...

Follow up with a EU deal (take the controversial stuff off) and then a CTTPP (controlled by US) and EU could basically have the BRICs in a trade deal knot... All the first world could than dictate to the BRICs...

Would be kind of genius... Then Chinese manufacturing could be relocated over time to Vietnam and Indonesia...

Now that would have both sides happy... Major thing, Somone has to control the corporate lobbyists (they would have us in knots craving out each exemption for them selves..)

What you think?

We know have a 10% tariff instead of 125% on products going into China. How is this not a good thing?
It is good for a few selected individuals

Maybe more than a few

But not good for America as a whole

America isn't "winning". Quite the opposite. Happy are those who are clueless. People who understand the economy and how business works, are seeing the total destruction of the American economy.
Trump still holds all the cards. China can’t survive without the American market. I mean, we aren’t talking about some pissant economy like Kanada.

If those countries want to do business with the largest economy in the world he sure as hell does have a right to dictate terms.

We are gifting china $400 billion a year that goes directly into the chinese military

Also the goal is to reduce dependance on chinese manufacturing

Which the 145% tariff facilitates

Well CTTPP hasn't been too beneficial for us, maybe it will work better for you I dont know.

I think Trumps approach of individual negotiations is probably most fair and advantageous approach
