There is no evidence that God has restored his protection of the Jews.
What do you think the "authorities" can do about antisemitism?
No evidence that we have found or no of, but then, who is to say God makes a point or cares whether we have evidence of anything especially when we might not even know what such evidence might look like or that god intends--- not a denial, just pointing out that lack of evidence is lack of proof of anything. Further, we have no evidence of how such protection really acted in the past other than through the words in a book written by dozens of people over a 1500 year period long long ago seen from THEIR perspective.
As to the authorities, universities and other bodies turning a blind eye to or even supporting antisemitism must either freely defend the interests of all their students on campus (or in the Aussie PM's case, grow a pair), or at least crack down on the matter, force businesses and themselves to public admit to the problem and take a proactive stance instead of denial and rationalization.
Look at how Trump has taken a proactive stance on the border and these drug boats--- this is exactly the position all bodies of authority should be taking on terrorism against Jews.
My point being is that is is a fallacy to somehow put oneself in the position of God then try to imagine how, what or why he does what he does. I mean, the Jews have survived thousands of years of relentless persecution few have endured and survived, but despite that, not only do the Jews survive, but Israel is really in a better position today than probably anytime in its past! Maybe that is how God intends to protect them.
Sometimes God works softly in the background and maybe sometimes God has to carry a big stick and kick some ass when there is no other choice.
