The Unmitigated Gall of Kofi Annan

In the midst of numerous accusations of enormous acts of fraud and embezzlement from the abuse of the Iraqi Oil-for-Food program, the Secretary-General of the U.N. has unveiled a new plan to "reform" that insititution that seeks, among other things, a four-fold increase in this country's charitable federal expenditures to developing nations.

What does the preeminent international organization of our times do when it demonstrates it is a wholly incompetent dispenser of charitable donations of large sums of money?

It asks for more money.
