The tunnels were are are not a threat

...A tunnel is defensive...
Not when it is designed to convey commandos and combat troops from friendly territory into enemy territory in order to execute offensive ground-assault sorties.

Not by any stretch of logic used by sane men, anyway.

Hell, tunnels were oftentimes offensive in nature, throughout history.

When the siege of a walled city was underway, and when the besiegers used sappers to dig a tunnel from friendly lines, to undermine the walls and towers of the besieged garrison or population, such a tunnel was an offensive device.

As seen time and again throughout history, stretching all the way back to Antiquity.

Trying to pitch the Hamas terror-tunnels as 'defensive' in nature is a fool's errand, preordained to an ignominious and comedic failure.

Interesting video, thanks for sharing. Interesting fact Egypt has closed/demolished 1,687 tunnels between Gaza and Egypt so far. Every time the Egyptians demolish a tunnel, Hamas is building 2. It's a never ending construction/destruction cycle. The Zionists may well be patting themselves on the back believing they've destroyed Hamas tunnel network, but in fact all that destruction has just created a vast pool of raw materials that can be used to construct new tunnels, if HAMAS is so inclined. Yet another epic fail by the IDF thugs and their masters, or was it? Perhaps the real intention all along was just to carry out another "cull of sub-humans", just another step towards the "Final solution of the Palestinian problem". Hang on, where have we heard that sort of language before....?

The fact that there are multiple times more Palestinians now than when Israel was founded exposes this statement for the bull crap that it is. The fact remains that the Israelis COULD kill every Palestinian out there, and haven't. Whereas the Palestinians absolutely WOULD kill every Jew if they could.

Decades of historical fact expose your comments for the brainless propaganda that makes up 95% of the pro Palestinian hogwash.

"Waa waa waa".

You Zionists ain't half whiners. A tunnel is defensive, as is a bunker, as is a trench.
You can try to shout this down as much as you like, but it is so.

Yes you can shoot from a bunker, a trench or a tunnel, but that requires your enemy to present himself for the shooting of. Stay out of Gaza.

As to the tunnels into Israel, well, seems like a good military tactic to try to out flank an opponent. Makes you wonder why no one ever thought of it before, eh?

Now if Egypt can find and close down the bits that reach into Egypt, then Israel can find and close down the bits that reach into Israel. No harm. No foul. No 1800 people dead (plus attacking aggressors of course).

Suck it up guys. :)

Tunnle is defensive only in the head of liars and deluded people.

When the Jebusites controlled Jerusalem with high walls, King David and the Israelites built a tunnel underground to get into the city. This was clearly an offensive action (not defensive). Although Jerusalem was holy to the Israelites because Abraham almost sacrificed Isaac there, it was still not a defensive action. That's like saying that the Trojan Horse trick was a defensive action.

Zionists whining = Zionists whooping Muslim ass? Fine.
Trenches are bunkers, not tunnels.
You are one stupid ass.

Hamas is wrong.

Hamas is being executed as an organization along with its leaders.

Good.

Hamas planned to use the tunnels it dug from Gaza to Israel to execute a massive attack on southern Israel, an Israeli newspaper reported, citing unnamed Israeli security sources.

Interesting.
So Israel would use, to execute a massive attack on Gaza, the roads and the skies.
Does that make the roads and skies "Terror Roads" & "Terror Skies"?

And you say a massive attack on Israel would be bad thing. Why, because it is likely that in trying to do harm they may harm many civilians?

How is that different from what Israel has been doing?

A tunnel is a tunnel.
If Israel closes them at the border, just as Egypt did, then they go nowhere, but around in circles in Gaza. So no issues there.

They were not the reason Israel invaded Gaza and killed 1800+.
That was an afterthought of an excuse, as Israel didn't even know much about them before it went in.

If you tunnel under a wall that is intended to keep you out it is no-longer defensive.

Indiscriminate Fire: Palestinian Rocket Attacks on Israel and Israeli Artillery Shelling in the Gaza Strip: Summary

From September 2005 through May 2007, Palestinian armed groups fired almost 2,700 rockets into Israel, killing 4 Israeli civilians, and injuring 75 civilians and at least 9 soldiers, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) (see Appendices III-V for casualty and weapons numbers). Two of those deaths occurred in the last two weeks of May 2007. An additional six civilians died in rocket attacks from mid-2004 through August 2005. Palestinian rockets have also killed at least two and injured at least 21 Palestinian civilians when they landed short of the Israeli border. The rockets, made in Gaza and generically known as “Qassams” after the name of the armed wing of Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement, are highly inaccurate and cannot be directed at a specific target.

We both know that's untrue, the Zionists learned their lesson from previous attempts at genocide, try to do it all at once, you get international coalitions springing up to stop you.

Zionist Israel commits genocide a little bit at a time; carries on until the rest of the world gets uncomfortable, stops, waits until the furore dies down and then starts again. Western political elites can be bribed to look the other way for a thousand or so murders every now and again, you know, "mowing the grass" as the IDF thugs say.

Interesting. From the same source:

"From September 2005 through May 2007, the same period covered by the rocket attack statistics cited above, the IDF fired 14,617 artillery shells into Gaza. This fire killed at least 59 people, wounded another 270 people, and did significant damage to many civilian structures.6 Of the 38 Palestinians killed through September 2006, 17 were children under the age of 16, 12 were women, and one was a 60-year-old man; Human Rights Watch, in its field investigations, identified 5 of the remaining 8 men as civilians.7 A subsequent artillery attack on November 8 killed or mortally wounded 23 and injured at least 40 Palestinians, all civilians."

From the Zionist's perspecive it's not about occupation, it's about genocide of Palestinians, a bit at a time.

Its anyway none of Israel's business what Gazans do with their land and sea. In Gaza, above Gaza, off the coast of Gaza or under Gaza.

If they don't want the tunnels in Israel, close them like the Egyptians did in Egypt.
But they have no right to kill thousands of Gazans to destroy passive infrastructure.

And the ability to do it isn't a right.
Just as might is not right.

You really don't get it. Those tunnels exist so that Hamas can invade Israel easily. All tunnels should be destroyed. Hamas doesn't have the right to dig tunnels made for attacking Israel.
