He used to have en even safer haven here, a Race Relations forum in Zone 1, where he was safe from any harsh criticism. The first rule in Zone 1 is BE NICE! Think of how hard it is to be nice to IM2.

I don't know if the mods removed that forum before or after you became a member.

There are these people on here who don't have anything to add to the conversation except flames and harassing people and then they wind up derailing the whole entire thread. It's gotten to the point where I can't just have a casual conversation without it turning into a flame war.


And before anybody calls me a Karen for complaining about this, not only is it annoying but it's against the rules!! I guess nobody even reads them though anyways and I highly doubt that anybody will care anyways. I just had to put out my feedback.

My 2024 New Year's Resolution was to resist feeding the trolls, arguing with idiots, or engaging in other exercises in futility. I know when they hit us with a meanspirited hateful insult the normal reaction is to return one, but that's how the food fights start that pretty much derail any decent discussion.

People that vacuous and/or intentionally disruptive do not deserve our emotions, our time, our effort. My counsel is to ignore them or report them but do not respond to them. Scroll over them as if they are invisible and keep the thread on track.

I will have the same New Years Resolution for 2025 as well.
