The phone call became public only weeks ago and things have been getting exponentially worse for Trump since. Impeachment and removal is at 52%.
Does that satisfy your definition of a tipping point. Who cares. Time will tell but it sure looks like it has whether you agree or not. One might almost think you hope not
This is not about what I hope, Lesh, it's an attempt at a sober analysis of what is actually happening. And, as long as Trump's approval rating among Republicans and Republican leaners stands at something like 90%, Republican Senators' calculation won't change - not in sufficient numbers to convict anyway.
As you say, time will tell, and chances are, there is more corrupt behavior out there to uncover, as the Mob Boss sure cannot change his stripes. On the other hand, are you sure you'd welcome elevating Pence to the presidency? Because, that would be what a tipping point is going to bring about.
