Sorry to burst your bubble, but blacks and other minorities realize that they have Democrats to thank for the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Affirmative Action and legislation which allows gays to marry, among others.

You can twist things around and look through the glass darkly all you like, but the Democrats, since the 60's, have become the party of diversity, the party that tries its best to be fair. Are they doing it to get votes? Hell, yeah, but that is what politicians are supposed to do--speak for their constituents. Republicans speak to the white business class. Rewriting history? Since southern Democrats opposed the legislation, votes from a substantial number of senators in the Republican minority would be needed to end the filibuster.

Democrats are the party of death for blacks. Just look at Liberal run cities. Before the Chinese virus that took out the entire world Trump had the lowest unemployment for blacks, and he'll do it again despite Democrats resisting.

I'm not getting into it with a bunch of party shills. I read a long article on it that was not all "Republicans suck" or "Democrats suck," and that's what it said. You're full of shit that "Democrats are the party of death for blacks." Trump had the lowest unemployment for blacks because the rising tide lifts all boats. Their unemployment was still three times higher than white unemployment. Trump didn't do shit for them. He was playing the economy for his own ends and a bunch of lower paying, less secure jobs opened up which people grabbed because people would rather work than be on welfare. But I'll tell you what--blacks may vote for him in hopes the economy will improve again; but it had nothing to do with improving life for blacks.

Sorry, but the stats are on my side. Democratic politicians in the inner cities have not helped blacks. Just look at the homicide rates in Baltimore after the Freddie Gray riots. More than 120 blacks a year on average have died since before Freddie Gray.

"Black Lives Matter" and "Kneel against oppression" all sound good and are catchy phrases, but they are based on false narratives that Democrats perpetuate to the detriment of blacks.

Does it really matter if Trump was playing the economy for his own ends when everyone is winning? My paycheck, bonuses and 401K certainly skyrocketed under Trump as opposed to 8 years of Obama. Gas prices remain low under Trump and he's done the best job securing the border. Less illegals means more jobs for Americans that need work.

Obama and Biden were in office for 8 years. What changed for blacks? The answer, Nothing. Why keep voting for the party that doesn't deliver and does nothing but pays lip service to blacks?

How do the Republicans propose to end homicides in the inner cities?

Lock up violent offenders forever. 8 percent of the criminal population commits 80 percent of the violent crime.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 wouldn't have passed without Democratic AND Republican support in the North, and neither without Johnson's determined stewardship - against the fierce opposition mostly by Southern Democrats.

Since then, a lot did in fact change, namely, the South changed hands, and Northern Republicans now are almost every bit as racist and opposed to any and all civil rights legislation as are the Deep South Republicans. That's why there is not a chance in hell the Voting Rights Act, the crown jewel of civil rights legislation, could be restored to its former glory after the Roberts Court reduced it to a pile of smoldering rubble.

The problem, really, is folks on the other side running their entire campaign on White, male grievance and victimhood. No matter the issue - be it climate change, police reform, countering a pandemic, marriage equality, etc. - it's depicted as an assault on White males, their rights and liberty. That's how the requirement to wear a mask to protect the mostly aging nitwits, for instance, becomes a political cause, as did the push for marriage equality or the advocacy against gas guzzlers. In short, for "White, male grievance and victimhood" to work they have to trample the entire realm of facts (and science) into the ground. And that's where we are right now, every issue resulting in political stalemate (see police reform going nowhere in the Senate), and the White, male grievance and victimhood howlers whining and bitching over the assault they have to endure. The tide is turning now, folks. You can feel it in your bones, and you can see it in the shift of focus by the corrupt national news media. The American Taliban, aka Antifa and BLM, is being pushed back, its energy fading, its efforts to topple monuments failing and its major monument to cultural Marxism soon to be dismantled.
That monument to cultural Marxism would be the so-called CHOP area in Seattle, where violent rioters seized control of six city blocks in the Capitol Hill area with the help of members of the city council and Mayor Jenny Durkin, who ordered her police to stand down as the department’s 3rd precinct building was taken. After shooting incidents over the weekend that left one dead and two lying near death in a local hospital, Durkin, who spent the previous three weeks celebrating and supporting the violent juvenile delinquents in the CHOP, announced on Monday that the city would begin to dismantle the atrocity today.
The energy behind the nationwide protests and riots staged and instigated by the American Taliban has also obviously faded, as an increasing number of the guilty parties are being arrested and charged by local and federal law enforcement. It turns out that the masked dopes dressed in black Antifa outfits love to create havoc when the local Democrat mayor assists them by having their police stand down while they do their looting and burning, but they quickly turn into pathetic cowards when they see their leaders and cohorts being arrested and placed at risk of serving long prison sentences.
Even better, the dimwit Talibanites in New York City are now turning on their own, last night staging a major protest outside Gracie Mansion, where Marxist New York Mayor Warren Wilhem, aka, Bill de Blasio resides:

After weeks of tearing down various monuments in Democrat-run cities without any pushback from neutered police departments, a group of Antifa thugs made the mistake last night of trying to take down the famous statue of Andrew Jackson in Lafayette Park across the street from the White House.
These rioters may have had the tacit approval of DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, but they lacked the approval of the U.S. Park Police and other federal law enforcement officials who quickly arrived at the scene and put the action down:

I find it funny that Democrats have forgotten their own factual history. Andrew Jackson is considered the founder of the modern American Democrat party…with most of these rioters being young adult products of the Marxist Socialist controlled indoctrination, aka education system, they probabaly did not even know Jackson was a president , much less the foundation of the democrats.
