The thread where I make Democrats angry- why we lost in 2024!

100 61 ttwimdaw …~… if there was a fumble it was the Democrat voters who came out in 2020 to vote for Biden but then didn’t ā€œgive a shitā€ in 2024 when they didn’t vote at all. 232,000 votes in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania flipped to Biden from Trump. Would’ve put hairs in the White House. There were probably 1, million 2020 Biden voters in those three states who didn’t show up. Let’s talk about their fumble shall we? Let’s not pay attention to their excuse ā€œ oh Biden was too old ~ oh Biden was too close to Netanyahu as if the Republican Party does not have its collective lips, leaving sucker bites on Netanyahuā€˜s ass.

JoeB131’s reasons why Democrats got their asses handed to them in 2024 ttwimdaw00001 …~… 2) Kamala Harris – In one aspect, it’s easy to be sympathetic; she had to hop in and pick up a ball that had been fumbled.

whut I say ttwimdaw00161 …~… You have no way of knowing the outcome had Biden opted out of running for a second term either if the primary process would have chosen a better candidate than Harris or if that imagined better candidate would have defeated the enormous rush of ignorance and cruelty that the lawless Republican Party has become.

So let’s figure out why 10 million voters who voted for Biden in 2020 decided to sit the last one out after seeing what total absolutely anti-democratic shitheads Donald Trump and his Republican Party was on January 6, 2021 when they lost the right to a second term.

If there had been a full primary IMO there is no way Harris wins. She was the first to drop out in 2020. The party apparatus refused to accept that the people weren't interested in Harris.

I think we can make a pretty good guess. We have had debates. We would have had a chance for the eventual Democratic nominee to define themselves as to how they would do things differently than Biden while still supporting the positive things Biden accomplished.

As Woody Allen once opined, 90% of success is just showing up. the problem was Biden was AWOL for much of the campaign, and then Harris had to jump in.

Some people never liked her from the get go.
I am sure that some people even felt she stabbed poor Joe in the back. I don't think this is entirely fair, Biden created this mess by hanging on as long as he did, and making Harris the only viable candidate because her name was on the bank account for money raised up to that point. But once the donors said they weren't going to throw good money after bad, Biden was cooked.

So let's start with that it wasn't 10 million voters, it was only six million.

Trump got three million more votes than he did in 2020. Whether you can account that as people switching sides or just growth in the electorate is up for conjecture.

A lot of people let's say 4.5 million and split the difference, didn't vote this time for Harris.

Partially because they weren't that into her.
Partially because with Covid done, some jurisdictions were being less friendly to mail-in or early ballots.
Partially because with Covid done, people just didn't see the urgency they saw in 2020 to get Trump out.
And partially, because some guys just couldn't bring themselves to vote for a woman of color.

And so what? Would she have become a better president for the working class and all of America’s minorities and small businesses than the fukkkfest were seeing right now had she gone on to win Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan by getting 232,000 more votes across those three states that unfortunately she did not get.?

I’m sure the no show Democrats last year have the biggest set of flapping gums blaming Harris and Biden for the loss.

Do you have figures on what was spent on transgender rights?

It's probably not as much as you think compared to a 7 Trillion dollar budget and hundreds of billions in state budgets.

According to Google AI, the total spent on all LGBTQ initiatives (not just Trans) is only 4 Billion. Out of 7 Trillion in Federal Spending, that comes out to less than 0.1%
Sexuality is a broad brush. Extreme ways of living historically, these people exist in red light districts of societies. In the end you will have to deal with Christians. Hard core Christians who are not violent form your standards. And then when the Islamic people living here are powerful enough, deal with them who have the answers for your answers. As Progs, they are wolves in sheep's clothing. Omar will kill you when it becomes necessary.

And so what?

So what? It's what we are discussing.

You are setting the bar way too low.

I showed up last year.

Didn't live in a swing state, so it was kind of meaningless, but I showed up anyway.

Point is, Trump was able to convince people that they WERE better off during his term and that Covid was just an anomaly.

I disagree with this, but a lot of people felt a lot of pain due to inflation. Perception is reality. People thought the economy was worse and that crime was worse, it really didn't matter what the metrics were.

Democrats are a far better guarantor for the US economy and will thus reduce the income gap and social discrepancies , that under Trump and his billionaire pals will become horrendous.

Except the income gap decreased in Trump’s first term and increased under Biden.

As I has stated much earlier on: the American citizen on average is way more religiously/conservative and racist then a European

Europe is FAR less in favor of racial diversity than the US.

In views of diversity, many Europeans are less positive than Americans

Cuban Americans are very conservative, on balance, because they've escaped Communism.

The don’t gravitate towards the Democratic Party for a reason. They are able to see that the current Democratic Party is too closely aligned with the form of government from which they escaped. Now, if we could only get all those Democrats escaping from their blue states to be as enlightened.

If Trump’s policies don’t crater the economy and Trump doesn’t get us into any stupid wars and if we don’t have another pandemic, Republicans are on a strong position

Trump’s policies will ultimately help the economy and he is not the guy that gets us into wars nor do his policies create worldwide unrest. Democrats do that.

Now, if you want to make the argument that transgenders shouldn't participate in contact sports, I'm totally with you on that one.

Biological males should not compete against biological females in any sport where there is a current separation of sexes. There is a distinct advantage. Only those who have never participated in organized sports outside of 6 year old soccer don’t know this.

Scientific studies have proven that the brain structure of transgender people resembles their identified sex more than their biological sex. This is why gender isn't binary, it's often on a spectrum.

Neat. They think they are girls. Their biology says otherwise, thus why they shouldn’t be competing against biological females.

Well, no, you argued that Democrats should have gone further to the crazy left and made Commie Bernie the nominee.

And Bernie is a Democrat. He runs on the Democratic ticket. We have been trying to tell you for years that the Democratic Party more closely aligns with Communism and Socialism. Most Americans want to steer very clear of those two forms of government. We just need to make the average Democrat aware of this tidbit(many are ignorant) and even more will leave the Party.

I doubt anyone who wasn't already drinking deeply of the bleach cared about the Lawfare thing.

The only people drinking bleach were dumb Democrats who weren’t smart enough to understand what Trump was saying. He never said to drink bleach. Dumb people and those looking for political talking points spun his statement.

Every time Trump rolled out that girl who whined about not getting a fifth place trophy, they should have counted with a trans-girl who has been bullied by bigots.

Trans girls are defacto bullying biological girls by competing against them and taking away their trophies and ribbons.

When the markets crash and the economy goes into the shitter, people are going to quickly regret their mistake.

You will be in for a big surprise by the end of Trump’s term. He does need the support of Congress, so we can only hope the lefty lunies don’t take control in the midterms.

Matters none to me as it affects me none.

That's a dodge.

These people want you to say they walked across the chasm just fine, even though they plummeted and died.

That was once said about blacks. I understand many still feel that way.

I dont.

This isn't the same as race, nor is it even nearly equivalent to the systemic denial of educational and economic rights as seen after Reconstruction

It would be if you had your way.

Sorry, but I wasn't around for Jim Crow or even the Civil Rights Movement.

Late Gen X, born well after that.

Irrelevant. I said you would do the same if you could.
