It’s never enough to cover the lost revenue that the tax cuts caused.No need for a free lunch. The economy always picks up and revenue increases as a result when taxes go down. Couple that with imposing fiscal discipline on congresscritters who have no idea what that is, and it works better than the eternal deficits preferred by the usual suspects.
It only makes the hole bigger and the cuts deeper.
Cutting taxes stimulates the economy, but cutting spending slows it. You’ll offset the effects.
