Zone1 The State of "White" Racism in America Today

Actually, there is a lot of movement back and forth.

Many Europeans came here as indentured servants and were often treated like slaves.

White indentured servants made a contractual agreement to serve for payment of passage to America. All white indentured servants were freed, and most were given land once done. So no, they were not often treated like slaves.

Some facts about indentured servants are123:
  • Indentured servitude was a form of labor where a worker agreed to work without a salary for a certain period of time to repay a debt, usually the cost of transportation to America.
  • Indentured servants often faced harsh conditions and were treated like slaves by their employers. Many of them died before completing their contracts.
  • Indentured servants could be sold, loaned, or inherited by their employers during their contract terms.
  • After finishing their contracts, some indentured servants received land, clothing, or tools as a reward.

You're not a foreigner in the country you were born and raised in...
So, what is the 'native' land of African Americans? Why do they retain that distinction while no one else does regarding the homelands of their ancestors? Are they allowed dual citizenship?
