The Solution to Affordability: Get a Job!

Well, I don't have any business throwing stones, because I do my best to slaughter the English language. I did try to figure it out when the other poster mentioned it, because puzzles can be fun, including simple ones.

Now I am going to pretend there is a lot more to it and go to Web MD to find out the 150 ways he is dying associated particularly with the one key to the left scenario. Your answer is way too simple :D
You are fairly new here so I thought I would give you a background briefing. :p

Agreed but in todays america one must consider financials first. Getting married young with kids and no money to raise them is a mistake. Not sure if you can comprehend reality.
Meh, nothing says you can't save up and get you a early 20-something breeder.

In fact I think you should be able to go to your local women's shelter and pick you out one just like at the animal shelter. It's an idea that's time has come.

Red states would have better stock but blue states would be all in for the grift. ;)

Risk it all, beg, borrow and steal, open your own business and pray you don't fold in the first the month. If you fail at that and don't have the guts to try it all again, join the ******* Peace Corp loser.
Done most all of that except for the Peace Corp, because I had to really make a living.

This pertains to young people in their 20-30s. Labor participation among this group is at an all-time low. We could speculate on why this is the case (e.g., being raised with an entitlement mentality, etc…).

Also, you have to consider the massive inflation that occurred during the Biden COVID giveaways. This devalued the dollar significantly. People could not pay all their bills and resorted to credit cards and loans. Today, inflation is under control. However, the debt created due to Biden’s inflation disaster has not gone away. These ongoing debt payments take money out of the household budget, making it more difficult to pay for a house and car.

There are 2 ways to remedy this: increase your income and pay off your debt before you complain about affordability.
What a novel idea. Who would have ever thought of that?

NO simple solutions to anything when it comes to our government
Not much interest in working together.
Just a desire to WIN. No desire to fix or improve.

I do love the “get a job” chorus...

the right wing forces you to have a baby now instead of having the fetus aborted...and when you can’t afford a baby in the crib...”get a job”.
Nobody “forces” you to have a baby, unless you are ******* raped. Idiot!

Who bothers to get married?
Those who understand the value of commitment and responsibility, who have the education to know the value of the traditional nuclear family, who have the intelligence to know why that is important.

Or at least before you can support a family with basic needs including quality of life.
Yes!!! Winning post. I dont get those that clamor for young people to get married and have kids on one salary which isnt nearly enough to pay the bills.

Nothing wrong with those who believe one salary should be the norm or at least sufficient though. And making that a societal goal. What the situation is now today does not have to be the situation in our future.

People squawk about being respinsible for themselves. Many of those same people then say "well young people arent having enough kids and blah blah blah". So now theyre upset when young people are foregoing kids so they are financially responsible. Hard to fathom. Then they cry "feminism" and that ism and of course we need to go back to traditional values this and that.

Its never going to reverse course. Its a global economy and while the one income thing is ideal, its not going to happen. Its never coming back. Facts are facts.

Ate americans willing to pay 2x for the same product here made overseas? Will we find a way to make healthcare premiums go down bigly? Will daycare expenses be cut bigly? Housing come down huge? The price of vehicles come down bigly? Food prices? Oh and a young person must start saving for retirement in the first yesrs. Half the salary needs to go there. Sounds easy.

I've lived too long a life and seen too many things happen that were said would never happen to believe that.. Time will tell.
