The Socialist Plan

America under Sanders, and quite possibly Hillary 2.0, would look like far more Zimbabwe than Denmark. Even worse, Detroit.
There's not a reason in the world why that would be true. We have soft informal socialism here, a mixed economy but not a very good one. That can be fixed.
Yeah, and all Americans will become blond and better looking and behaved.

What you call Sanders' 'socialist' agenda, point by point, is more popular with the American people than the average rightwing anti-socialist agenda.
That IS Sanders platform RETARD. NOT what I am calling it what HE is calling it idiot. Do you DENY Sanders is a socialist? HE says He is.

He's a democratic socialist. The best position anyone can have in the 21st century.

Except those who has to pay for socialist generosity. Which is never the generous socialist, generous with someone else's money. Which - eventually - runs out.
Dogma. Socialism works just fine, all over the world. It's about human decency, hence why you don't like it.

Socialism is defined as government or collective ownership of the means of production and distribution. Welfare benefits are not defined as socialism. Welfare benefits are just that extorted charity.
You're confusing communism with socialism. Communism calls for state ownership of means of production. Socialism calls for state control. Two different things.
Interestingly enough Marx used Communism and Socialism interchangeably in fact socialism is a phase on the path to communism.
Satisfy yourself and look up the definition of Socialism Merriam Webster says:

Full Definition of SOCIALISM
1
: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2
a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3
: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done
If you paid for a college degree that gave you the definition you used you were cheated and should look at everything you learned with a grain of salt.
If you rely on Marx then both Cuba and Denmark share the same system. I'd say you were cheated out of a brain. Sue.
If reading the source material means I have no brain I agree. It seems to me that reading the source material indicates enough interest to know what I am talking about as for you "“If silence be good for the wise, how much better for fools”.
"Source material." <snicker>
You dont know what the term means. You dont know what you're talking about.
The adage: A little knowledge is an absurd thing" comes to mind here.
Dangerous thing, not absurd.

Wherever it "works" people pay pay far more taxes than you, as an American would be willing to pay.

And speaking of human decency, donating your time and sweat to help others would be acknowledged as a decent thing by all except by Democrats. How do I know that? Since February 1993 until 2006 I devoted two weeks of my vacation time to work with Habitat for Humanity, Appalachian Work Project and other charities. All those years on those projects I never had the pleasure to meet a Democrat.

So don't blab about decency to me.

Socialism has delivered 100% failure every single time. You cannot name a socialist country that has succeeded.

I'm perfectly fine paying what they pay, as long as I get what they get. Got it?

I can name dozens of them, starting with Sweden. Move past the dogma and accept that Capitalism, Mixed-Economies (weak socialism), and Socialism can all work. Had communism been implemented as Marx said, and humans were of a better nature, it could work as well.

That being said, of all the systems capitalism is best suited to the lower animal nature that is humanity. It's the first step of four, only three of which are currently possible.

Okay, however yours is wrong...

Origin
'A little knowledge is a dangerous thing' and 'a little learning is a dangerous thing' have been used synonymously since the 18th century.

The version 'a little learning' is widely attributed to Alexander Pope (1688 - 1744). It is found in An Essay on Criticism, 1709, and I can find no earlier example of the expression in print:

A little learning is a dangerous thing;
drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring:
there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
and drinking largely sobers us again.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing - meaning and origin.

If the American people want a program that is labeled socialist and they are willing to pay for it, is that OK?
Care to take a guess at what the projected tax rate would be for all that FREE stuff?

If taxes are ever collected fairly, and the average, upper-middle class obligation doesn't change, I'll bet that the national income would be surprising. Might even be enough in there to rebuild some infrastructure, ass-u-me-ing we can figure out a way to spend less on the military industrial complex that's been sucking down what comes in via the corrupt code currently in place.
I believe this country is at an existential crisis. Not unlike China trying to limit the number of tractors farmers had because it would replace workers. Many people in high places do realize what this country is capable of and it scares them. Until we embrace our future we are going to suffer. And it will get worse the longer we try for the 1920's ideal.

How about socialistic programs as compared to an entire nation, have any programs been successful?

In the U.S., Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Being old no longer means poverty and sickness, we save that now for the kids.

Yeah, Greece did that too. They were Bernie before Bernie was Bernie.
Get a new meme, that one is both boring, and not a good example.
It is in fact an excellent example of socialism. America is not a Scandinavian country and has far too many shit holes and parasites for that.

America is a bad version of Sweden, and nothing like Greece.
