There is far more to the story that what the article covers. Some of it has to do with a large wind farm that was proposed just of the coast. I think Trump was opposed to it at a time when the government in power was pushing them hard.

Since then, the UK has determined they are not as cost effective as they were told and has cut back on them in many places.

Scotland already has a very high percentage of renewable energy (at a higher cost than before).

It would be nice to read the full story behind this. If I have time, I will check it out.

There is plenty of documentation of what T-rump did to the people of that area. Facts are independent of who believes them or disbelieves them.
