President Trump Absolutely Destroys Democrat Rep. Brad Sherman

in a Fiery Spat Over FEMA

25 Jan 2025 ~~ By Jim Hoft

President Donald Trump dismantled Democrat Representative Brad Sherman’s defense of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), arguing that state governments, not federal bureaucracy, should take matters into their own hands rather than waiting for federal incompetence.
President Trump did not mince words about FEMA’s shortcomings during a press conference on Friday with Los Angeles officials after touring the damage caused by the wildfires.

Sherman attempted to defend FEMA’s efforts, suggesting that the agency had been effective in his state by employing thousands of people through a disaster relief center.
Sherman argued against Trump’s proposal for a state-centric approach, warning that such a model could overwhelm smaller states.
However, Trump quickly dismantled the far-left congressman, pointing out the stark contrast in FEMA’s performance across different states and its excessive costs.

Commentary:
That is why our President was calling it out in a perfect time and place. Plus, brought up the FEMA waste and ineptitude in North Carolina. He's so BOSS this time as President. He's not taking ANY of the Democrat Bull crap!
If anything Biden took the DHS to new heights of political use by denying those Americans needing assistance during times of crisis.
Good examples are East Palestine, North Carolina, Tennessee.
Investigations into how the Director of DHS and it's sub agencies used and allocated funds is necessary.
Mayorkas has a lot to answer for. Biden did not pardon him for any of his actions. It's time to soak the rope..
Trump exposed so many people, groups of people, and organizations as FRAUDS in his first term and continues to do the same in his opening days, while working do improve all that was and is wrong with the federal and local governments. Biden's time and incompetence in office has been a very clear contrast of the Democrats, their policies, and practices as compared to PDJT's first term and the beginning of his second term.
The important part of the conversation was the situation on homeowners insurance/fire insurance. Most of the homes destroyed were in suburbs of the various cities in So Cal. Areas that are well developed.
The latest scheme by insurance companies was to deny a claim for fire if they can link it to a fire that started outside a city .. they call it a Wild Fire. So when it jumps to burn down a suburb that is not on some hill side and would not be considered as in that bush area on some hill. They will deny the coverage , calling it a wild fire.
Eeven if you live in a city in a neighborhood that was built 60 70 80 100 years ago without a single dirt lot etc, you are treated as if you have a cabin in the woods.

It is much like those that get wiped out by storm surge in a hurricane who have homeowners insurance that covers wind damage, the insurance companies will try to screw you and deny and delay saying you were flooded out and you don't have flood insurance (see Hurricanes katrina and Sandy)
We will soon see articles about claims denied due to no wild fire coverage. And lots of law suits and huge delays in rebuilding.

The one party rule was well on its way to destroy the state. we will see it play out in real time as rebuilding commences and fights over the nature of the neighborhoods start in earnest.

Concerning insurance companies actions in California. Insurance companies have these people called actuaries. Pay them good money. They are crazy smart. They had the numbers crunched. I heard they had a 1.05 expense to 1.0 in revenue last year. Boo Hoo, cry me a river--except, uh, investment earnings are not counted. What about those loss reserves and their untaxable earnings?

But worse, this whole disaster in California, in Los Angeles, them actuaries, it was already priced in. That means the insurance anticipated this happening, collected a premium based on such an event happening, with a hefty profit. And now they are crying about it, demanding higher premiums based on this happening every year, and them very same actuaries, knowing damn well that is bunch of horseshit.

May be the best moment of his Presidency thus far.

But his short tenure is already replete with killer moments - so hard to decide.
