1. Raise the Medicare and Social Security eligibility ages to 70. We are living longer, we should be working longer.

2. Eliminate all tax expenditures. You can't bribe a congressman with campaign cash to insert a tax expenditure as a rider on a bill if he is not allowed to do so.

We spend a trillion dollars in tax expenditures annually. Eliminating all of them would enable us to considerably lower tax rates, and it would broaden the tax base to include more than the current 47 percent of Americans who pay federal income tax, and thus more people would have skin in the game.

3. Cut Defense spending back to the pre-wars level.
