The 'reply' Function

When I hit 'reply' and then post my reply, sometimes the particular post I am replying to can't be seen unless I click and see the whole posting history. Seems a bit cumbersome. If I want the post I am replying to to show, I have to delete all prior posts. Maybe it's just me....Or am I not understanding the software?

Highlight what you want to reply to , and click reply. Only what you highlight will go in. Is that what you mean?
