The real measure of how insidiously bonkers things have become is there are discussions.........

These people have been convinced by voices they trust that they are at war. They think this is literally an existential battle. Good vs. Evil (they're evidently the "good", by the way). They're going to examine everything and do everything they can.

They may fail, but they're going to try. And it doesn't look like they feel any particular need to hide it.
You want Communism. The people who push it do not live the communist way.

The OP is seriously lying:
"...about the seriousness and methods of trump trying to corrupt the midterms in favor of R's"

How is requiring ID "corrupt"? Its not.
Where it is used now, WI, GA, etc. there are more voters participating, not less.
One. He is brazenly talking about canceling elections. Even if you think he lacks the power the discussion is dangerous and you should condemn. If Obama said that you would have flipped.

Two. Trump cannot order a state through an EO to conduct its elections in any matter at all. They are state run and that is not a disputable point.

Three. He is openly threatening brown US citizens with ICE harassment at the polls. Legal Americans are being detained based on their accents and looks. That is indisputable. Having ICE patrol the lines to shake down legal Americans is illegal determent.

Four. Voter ID laws can be passed if citizens think their votes are not secure in a state. There is no evidence of this being a prevalent problem anywhere.

He is trying to avoid the accountability that is coming if Democrats take the majority. He will be impeached, and the trial will show inarguable evidence showing that he needs to be removed. Once removed, prison is coming.

He'll flee to Israel and live next door to Jeffrey Epstein

They may fail, but they're going to try. And it doesn't look like they feel any particular need to hide it.
Maybe there really is something to trumples being attracted to Don because he tells it like it is after all. Of the many traitorous things he has foreshadowed cancelling elections is now among them.

I have no doubt that for some of them, a "temporary" suspension of the Constitution "just until we get stuff straightened out" would be just fine with them. That's why I say they have virtually no realistic grasp of world history. Once the Constitution is gone, it's gone.

They had no problem with this:

I've heard some skuttlebutt that there are some GOP's who are open to a Trump impeachment if they get slaughtered in the midterms as is expected. Ir is probably why Trump is doing the tariff TACO thing again on metals and aluminum.

I'm thinking about trump's illegal Muslim ban. Put in place "until we figure out what the hell is going on."

........going on in the country about the seriousness and methods of trump trying to corrupt the midterms in favor of R's......................and it has the feel of normalcy because abnormality is an every day event. Something that in and of itself is off the chain dangerous.

Trump Says He Wants to Cancel Elections, but Here Is the Real Threat

President Trump has dropped unsubtle hints about his desire to cancel the November elections. “We have to even run against these people,” he said in a speech last month. “I won’t say cancel the election; they should cancel the election.” Mr. Trump didn’t stop there. “When you think of it, we shouldn’t even have an election,” he mused a week later.

These remarks have caused understandable concern, but they are empty threats. Mr. Trump’s power depends on the appearance of winning elections, and he knows it. He’s obsessed with convincing the world he won in 2020. And control over elections is dispersed among thousands of officials across the country, making cancellation impossible.

But more to the point, it’s election subversion, not cancellation, that is the real authoritarian move. The goal is to keep elections going but without unseating those in power.

Look around the world. Vladimir Putin hasn’t canceled an election. Iran has regular elections. In the 21st century, the name of the game is “competitive authoritarianism,” in which democratic institutions and elections persist, but are hollowed out by authoritarian incumbents. Elections — even if they’re rigged — give rulers legitimacy.

Mr. Trump’s call last week to “nationalize” elections — arguing that Republicans should “take over” voting — more closely reflects how he could subvert the electoral system. The president has no lawful authority for such a takeover: Under our Constitution, states and Congress set the rules that govern elections. Under our laws, state and local officials run our elections. Still, his administration has taken dozens of actions to undermine elections that, together, show that an attempted election “takeover” may be underway.

Every congressional R, every conservative person with a microphone, every conservative media outlet, should be decrying even the most subtle suggestion the elections should be tampered with (the gerrymandering scheme) let alone canceled. Instead, R's like Gov. Abbott and the TX legislature obeyed his call to rig the system. Other R controlled states followed. The unspeakable has been spoken and R's barely batted a eye.

Advocacy for and support of trump's policies can't be more important than the sanctity of fair elections. Can they?
People vote for change, or for no change. Neither gets their way. Things that should change don't. Things that shouldn't change do. It's a mess.

We all know what's going on, the Islamification of America. :omg:

Yep. His agenda will be over.

Not a prayer. Investigations, committee meeting, gavel banging sure. Trump will die a free man claiming to be a victim as his body withers from disease and illness. There will be no justice. There never is.
I think there is a chance.

But...............we agree they should be able to vote, right?

Of course. We vote hoping some good will come of it. Sadly, that rarely happens. Our elected leaders should focus more on facilitating the American Dream for the citizenry (basically health, wealth, and security).

Funny thread. First a regular ineffectual shitlib troll starts another troll thread. A second imbecile shitlib troll shares some “feel.” And the two shitlib trolls then happily agree with one another because reality has nothing to do with their posting efforts.
And the cult sheep ignores the fact that the entire premise is based on words that fell out of the mouth of the fat orange rapist charity thief ^^
