The One Mistake Europeans Think Americans Make With Their Laundry

^ Just how much do Americans love their dryers? Enough to buy clothing specifically for them, according to many Reddit users. The initial Reddit thread caused one user to pose this question to Americans: "Do you dry all your clothes in a tumble dryer?" In response, several people admitted to only buying clothing that could withstand the dryer, without special care instructions.

To combine the ease of a clothes dryer with the luxury of wearing more delicate fabrics, some high-end appliance companies have started marketing clothes-drying cabinets to Americans. This machine combines the gentle method of air-drying with the efficiency of a tumble dryer. Staber, an American appliance manufacturer, sells a drying cabinet for $1,520, plus shipping. An electric version of the classic British airing cupboard, the drying cabinet works by circulating warm air around hanging clothing, speeding up drying time, and preventing mold. With the high cost and space requirements, the cabinets are still very much a luxury appliance, but they may be the tumble dryer of the future.

Pft. I love to put on something fresh out of the dryer on those chilly, nipply mornings. Feels great.

Dryers are hard on clothes and i don't need a stinking (literally) europeon to tell me that.
Where's the source of this. real simple. do you know what they charge for their magazine? LOLOL I think the globalist elites would like us to have NO electric dryers...and no clothes either for that matter. Real Simple.

1500 for a fancy name clothes drying cupboard/cabinet.

THIS doesn't cost anywhere near 1500 dollars.

Would you ever ditch your dryer?

That's actually true. My grandmother came from Europe and hung laundry outside. When there were lots of people born in Europe , you could see where they settled by the amount of laundry you would see outside.

But with the number of sexual perverts out there stealing ladies' unmentionable in most of our big cities, it became a lot less practical.

This is my point. Why, in the Land of the Free, do you have socialist style restrictions?

There’s also a nice smell to the clothes from hanging outside.

Water is expensive, so they shower.
When I lived in England my Land Lady thought that I was strange for showering everyday, but of course she was paying for the water, so I can see her point.

One shower a day

Americans, meanwhile, averaged a bit less than one shower a day, along with Spaniards, Indians and the French. Brits were on the low side of showering, with the Japanese and Chinese coming in the least frequent of all countries in the poll, with an average of about five showers a week.

Do Americans Shower More Or Less Than The Rest Of The World? …

Not only that, have you experienced their plumbing?

And the water pressure is a joke. The shower systems have to use an electic booster device.

As for mixer taps. (Faucets to you)

well...look at all our socialist elite politicians have denied us. blinds with cords, standard toilets, simple linoleum removal and replacement, home inspections for sellers, banking regulations ON US, lightbulbs simple and cheap, seatbelts, helmets, catalytic converters, plastic straws, windmills, green energy stupid shit, protected species, protected swampland. and on and on and on and on......all of which..THEY are not required to obey.
