Just read that the surfing event for the Paris 2024 Olympics will be in Tahiti.... 9,777 miles away, according to Bing.

If one event can be held that far from Paris, why not just have different events in different countries?

Also, the Commonwealth Games.... probably won't happen ever again. Nobody wants to host the next one, somewhere in Australia took it, after nobody wanted it, then pulled out and that'll probably be that. Why? Because it's not profitable any more.

Parisians are complaining about the up and coming games and how they'll disrupt Paris over the summer anyway....

Let's just do each even individually, and different countries can bid, and we can add more sports, like tiddlywinks and Sims4 etc

Why is there even a surfing event in the Olympics? It's like skateboarding on water. Big deal, my little sister with Down Syndrome could do that.
