The Seattle Seahawks are being punished for their success in 2013.
The Hawks are allowed only one game in prime time in 2014. Apparently the NFL believes that the best team last year was too good in prime time as was demonstrated by the blowouts against the 49ers and the Saints.
The logic seems to be that TV viewers will change the chanel if the winner is clear by halftime and the commercials scheduled for the second half will be of less value.
So what will be the reaction if Seattle blows out Green Bay at the CLink on September 4?
No prime time games?
Why not punish the Broncos? The last prime time Seahawk victory was more Denver's fault than Seattle's.
Seattle seems to play better when the players feel they are being disrespected.
Now it seems that the Hawks have even MORE reason to repeat last years success.
