The new Trump reflecting pool is a big hit… with algae

Compared to Bidens its just algae. Its also a poor attempt to divert from a soaring economy, the end of the Iran problem nd democrats lack of any message. So they talk about algae.
So you don't believe the economy would have soared even more without the tariffs and not attacking Iran for Israel?

It's really funny that the president is spending a not insignificant amount of time on this and is probably personally directing the entire response.

What is funny is the amount of time the LEFT is spending on a little plant algae in a pool that has had algae in it since it was created ages ago. Only an idiot would believe the POTUS himself is personally overseeing such a mundane cosmetic affair while busy dealing with national and global matters!

Those guys in the water look like they are just scrubbing any algae loose from the bottom so that the water system can pick it up and remove it, and it looks like they have most of the pool cleaned but the small green area in between them.

The extent of Trump's involvement was his request to see the pool repaired and repainted to look original and a deep blue again part of the beautification of DC, and whatever the solution to the algae, current cleaning efforts are just to get it looking its best for 250th Annv. festivities next month.

After that, I bet interest in keeping the pool clean dwindles by everyone. My guess is that eventually, someone handling the parks in DC will propose a larger and more effective water filtering and treatment system.

No prove it. Biden had 4 years to wreck the economy. Trumps improvements have been astounding in such a short time in spite of the war. Bidens inflation was demand side inflation caused by his polices. The mild inflation under Trump is supply side caused by the oil shortage that has now ended. Oil and gas is dropping rapidly. Dow is surging, jobs beating expectations. Wages are up take home pay is up all because of the BBB. This is just the beginning.

No prove it.
You really are a dolt. Now find someone who supports your crazy belief that the economy wouldn't have soared even more without tariffs and the Iranian war.

Economists broadly agree that the global and U.S. economies would have grown significantly faster without the drag of the Iranian war and sweeping tariffs. These two factors disrupted supply chains, drove up energy costs, and fueled inflation, which collectively offset much of the economic momentum. [1, 2]

The Economic Cost of the Iran War
  • Energy Spikes: The conflict heavily impacted oil and gas infrastructure in the Persian Gulf, causing energy prices to surge. [1, 2]
  • Global GDP Drag: The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank cited the war as a primary driver of reduced global economic forecasts. Institutions like Goldman Sachs estimated that the war shaved at least \(0.5\) percentage points off U.S. economic growth. [1]
  • Uncertainty: The destruction of regional infrastructure and volatility in shipping—particularly through the Strait of Hormuz—forced companies to pause investments and navigate severe business shocks. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • Resource: Read the Council on Foreign Relations analysis on how the conflict reshaped supply chains, food, and fertilizer access.

The Economic Impact of Tariffs
  • Inflation & Cost of Living: Broad tariffs enacted on international trading partners significantly increased the cost of imported goods, with pass-through costs heavily absorbed by consumers. [1, 2]
  • Deadweight Loss: While tariffs provided localized job protection in specific sectors, economic models from the Wharton School show they generally reduce overall GDP and wages by limiting international trade and capital flows. [1]
  • Resource: Track the localized effects of import taxation via the Budget Lab at Yale University to see how specific sectors are adjusting.

Attaboy Joybeard! You couldn't tell Joe Biden was stumbling off into senility to save your life much less the nation despite him forgetting what he was saying and falling over, but you are right in there on the algae growth of some pond in DC with a tunneling electron microscope.

Got it. 🔬
Trump raaaaaaaanted that he was going to "drain the swamp". But, but, did the Bozo have to turn it green? :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

Bottom line the economy is strong Iran is no longer a problem and all because of Trump. You want to go back to Bidens economy? By saying it could have been better youre admitting it already is. The only places where the economy is suffering tare democrat states. People fleeing in droves.

Yeah you guys think descending gas prices, de-fanging Iran, killing 2 ayatollas, lowering inflation and sealing our border is all 'shit.' All you can complain about is algae. Geez you guys are petty.

Do you think Trump isn't raving & raving over that pool shitshow?

The latest news on the pool project. Reading this article and people can see why those of us keep harping on the corruption in government. I hope the groups is still active that is cleaning up and exposing the corrupt.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool has battled structural leaks and algae blooms since it was constructed in 1922. Built on unstable mudflats, the pool suffers from settling and cracks. Because the water is shallow, slow-moving, and sits in the sun, it creates a persistent environment for algae to grow. [1, 2, 3]

Bottom line, the US economy is NOT strong. The wealth gap has grown enormously since Trump took power. Billionaires have gained over $1.7 trillion in wealth. The rest of the population, is worse off than before the election.

2025 was the worst year for employment growth since the pandemic. Not to mention, foreign investment is fleeing the country, and your economy is headed for trouble.

Stop believing the bullshit Donald Trump tells you. He lies - about EVERYTHING.

It's being reported that the "flag blue" paint is peeling off the bottom of the pool.

Once again, Trump pretends he knows what he's doing and completely ***** up something. The man is a one-man wrecking crew when it comes to infrastructure. This is why he was such a failure as a businessman.
