I absolutely agree with you!

The working poor at the time of Keynes and even Dr. Friedman did not live much better than slaves or serfs of the time of the Dark Ages.
 
Throughout mankind's history, humans have adapted to changing times. At no time in our history did most of mankind just sit back and basically do nothing. As new technology appears, humans learn new skills.
There's no need for some universal welfare or universal income. That is for the lazy with no self-respect.
 
The socialists won't give up until we're all "employees" of the state. AKA serfs
