Supreme Court will hear this case on May 15! Millions of foreign invaders have been granted citizenship based on the lie that if you are born in america to an illegal alien mother, then you are a citizen!! Hopefully they will be deported too.

Senator Jacob Howard of Michigan, who introduced the Citizenship Clause in 1866, explicitly stated its intent:

This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, [or] who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.

The only way this could work is if it applies to people from this point on. It will fail if they try to make it retroactive.

I ahree that the idea that you can illegally enter the country, have a child, then that makes the child a citizen and then anchors the parents here as well, is flawed. But they can't deport millions of people who have been living here as citizens their whole lives, who became citizens by the nature of their birth.

They'll need to change the interpretation and say "from this point forward". That's the only way it would work.
 
If your mother is an illegal alien, you inherit her nationality and are NOT subject to the political jurisdiction of america. case closed.
This is basically correct. If you are born here to parents here illegally, you, as the child, are subject to the jurisdiction of your parents, who are subject to the jurisdiction of their home country.


The idea that it means "subject to the laws" is not the whole picture. It's subject to the "complete" jurisdiction, meaning, owing no allegiance to any other country.

If they are born here, they didn't "invade".
If they are born of invading parent(s) they inherit the status of their parent(s).
If one or both are here ILLEGALLY, then their offspring are here ILLEGALLY.

Without proper legal documentation, a Visa (issued by the USA government) or Green Card that links to a legal passport from their nation of origin, then they are here ILLEGALLY.

That's means they have broken a law(s) in crossing our border and entering our country, which is a crime(s), which makes them criminals and subject to appropriate legal actions, prosecutions, and consequences including automatic procedure ones established by our laws.

Are you saying you are a believer in the "sins of the parents". People are responsible for the wrongs their parents have done?

using your logic all a hostile enemy has to do is bring in pregnant women from their country and give birth here take them back home and prepare them to return nd infiltrate our government when they grow older,,

I think making it retro-active is the only way it will work. We have to remove the 130 million non-whites in america before they bankrupt us. Here is a legal way to do it.

Yes indeed. Jurisdiction in this case means political jurisdiction not legal jurisdiction. Everyone inside our borders is clearly subject to the legal jurisdiction of america. Foreigners cannot invade our country, rob a bank and they say, "Your laws don't apply to me."
