The "mystery" is when you elect Democrats, you're voting for people who want to kill fossil fuels, so naturally when they are in power oil companies and refineries know that they do not have a long future, thus they are going to work to maximize profits in the time they have left.

Eight dollars for a gallon of gas. Once, it seemed like an impossibility; now, it seems to happen in California every time there is a price spike. Last week, a Chevron station in Los Angeles recorded prices of $8.35 and above; similar prices were reported at multiple stations around Southern California.

The elitist appointed Sippy Cup said Californian's are used to paying $7.00 gal., so whatz the problem??

Hmmm............I figured with all those whiny, snivelling snowflakes screamin and threatenin people to buy EV's, that Mexifornia would have an EXTREME SURPLUS of gas!!!!

I can remember gas only costing 30¢ / gallon. Most my father ever paid for gasoline was about $1.15.

There is no mystery. The answer is right there in front of everyone and it is undeniable that it's all directly because of California and newsom.

I'm not big on glen beck but in this video he reads a statement from newsom demanding oil and gas companies explain why gas in California is so high, then he reads a response from a gas company where they explain it's because of newsoms policies that make the gas cost so much.

Oh and he also reads about why pork and meat costs are so high because of Californias policies.

And he explains why anytime California makes things more expensive it also directly raises the prices of 17 other states.

And he makes the case for simply, ignoring California.
