The My GI Foundation returned home safely after taking 1,500 eggs to The My GI Easter Egg Extravaganza at the beautiful Veteran's home. This event we funded was awesome because all I did was talk to the vets, write down some of their wishes I can likely afford and hear all the battle stories. I didn't have to give a speech, accept or give out an award and watched my dad stretch their commercial grade bunny suit to its limits.
I have six events pending until June 25th that are in the books and irons as hot as a year away. At 16 getting funding is extremely difficult, even though my package is usually well-prepared and show all their criteria. I try to get them to visit www.mygivets.com with me, but for now donations are the main source of revenue.
