The Most 'Educated' Demographic Celebrates Graduation

Yeah, we all do. All except people like you who worship the current education system thinking that piece of paper actually makes you educated
My daughter is just starting college and I tell her a college degree will not mean she is educated, only expensively credentialed.

It will open doors, but she will still need to be able to do the job once she gets in.

It can give you an education, but a degree ingender studies ain't gonna do it.

I wonder how many in that video are working to become doctors or engineers or anything that actually matters

I'm guessing ZERO

Thats because you are older than dirt.
.

So am I. I remember respectful graduations as we congratulated ourselves and looked forward to the joy of going out and becoming useful citizens.

As flawed as our education system is, I guess people like you think people without that piece of paper are just as educated as those with it. You shouldn't need a piece of paper to design a building or fly an airplane.

But would you want her working in a factory for a useless boss making $17 pet hour? 2 weeks vacation? Sub par health insurance? Very little sick time? What kind of meager life would that be?

When corporations struggle to find workers then we're doing well.

College isnt everything. If everyone aspires to a desk job where does that leave the demand for well paying trades. I know the liberal solution. Import cheap ILLEGAL labor.

This is what led to the downfall of South Africa and Europe.

Liberals want us to believe we are too good to earn a GOOD LIVING with our hands. They brainwashed a generation to think they have to go deeply in debt for a job where they never get dirty. Real work is beneath us. Bring in the slave labor!

Im for American workers doing the jobs done overseas for a much much much higher wage for the same product overseas. But then many will say "oh thats too high" and other LIES. Pure LIES. And if we want people to get dirty then they should be paid well above what the market says.

When corporations struggle to find workers then we're doing well.
If you ask them, they'd tell you that is already the case. The H-1B visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. Musk came here with one and never left.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is a strong proponent of the H-1B visa program, viewing it as crucial for attracting and retaining top global talent in the U.S.
Here's a breakdown of Musk's stance and the H-1B visa program:
1. Musk's Perspective:
  • Personal Experience: Musk, a naturalized U.S. citizen, initially came to the U.S. on an H-1B visa. He credits the program for enabling his success and believes it's vital for the U.S. to remain competitive in innovation.
  • Attracting Top Talent: Musk argues that the H-1B program allows companies like Tesla and SpaceX to hire highly skilled workers who are essential for driving technological advancements and economic growth.
  • Addressing Talent Shortages: He believes there's a shortage of specialized talent in the U.S., particularly in fields like AI and engineering, and the H-1B program helps bridge this gap.
  • Reforms and Safeguards: While a supporter, Musk acknowledges flaws in the program and advocates for reforms, such as raising the minimum salary for H-1B positions and adding a yearly cost for maintaining the visa, to ensure it's not used to displace qualified American workers.
2. The H-1B Visa Program:
  • Specialty Occupations: The H-1B visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise.
  • Requirements:
    • A bachelor's degree or higher (or its equivalent) in the specific field is typically required.
    • The employer must demonstrate that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation.
    • The employer must pay the prevailing wage for the occupation in the geographic area.
  • Annual Cap: There's an annual cap on the number of new H-1B visas issued (currently 65,000, with an additional 20,000 for those with a U.S. master's degree or higher).
  • Lottery: Due to high demand, the H-1B visas are often allocated through a lottery system.
3. Controversy and Concerns:
  • Displacement of American Workers: Critics argue that the H-1B program can be used to replace qualified American workers with cheaper foreign labor.
  • Wage Depression: There are concerns that the program can depress wages in certain industries by allowing companies to hire foreign workers at lower salaries than their American counterparts.
4. Recent Developments:
  • H-1B Modernization Rule: In 2025, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) implemented the H-1B Modernization Rule, which aims to clarify the definition of "specialty occupation," strengthen cap-gap protections for students transitioning to H-1B status, and enhance enforcement measures.
  • Increased Lottery Registration Fee: The lottery registration fee for the FY2026 H-1B cap increased from $10 to $215.
In conclusion: While the H-1B visa program remains a subject of debate, with valid concerns about its potential impact on American workers, Elon Musk's perspective highlights the program's crucial role in attracting and retaining highly skilled foreign talent that can contribute to innovation and economic growth in the U.S.

We could find those people here. america first.

Honest work is always good but if your job requires the skills common in 3rd world countries you have few choices.
  • Work for less money or find another career
  • Watch your job go overseas
  • Support tariffs and make every American subsidize your salary
  • Support unions and make every American subsidize your salary

No, it means they can't find the needed skill set among AMERICAN workers.
There's plenty of skillset right here. What they want is a cheap labor force. Then some say we'll heck $20 per hour is a good wage. They really will look one in the face and expect us to believe that rubbish. Its hard to believe but true.

But would you want her working in a factory for a useless boss making $17 pet hour? 2 weeks vacation? Sub par health insurance? Very little sick time? What kind of meager life would that be?
Knowing her, she'll probably end up owning the factory and employing other people's kids for minimum wage, lousy health insurance, crappy vacation, etc.

I'll make sure she puts in a (virgin) margarita machine to help morale.

Reading is racist. :auiqs.jpg:

I really feel sorry for those who believe this manure. To them, it's like an eye opening profound moment in life. They are heavily focused on this white supremacy nonsense, oppression, barrier, social justice, or things and skills they fall behind other ethnic groups and then claimed white supremacy did it. They never bothered to say you know, maybe I should learn to read better, better at math, and talk properly, I may get a job. I can then start a family with two parents, save up and buy a house.

Maybe they are angry dancin!
Yes, thats the issue. That angry shit is tired and played out. Large parts of black culture are super fucking annoying.

They dont have to be this way. They could change and start acting normal, but as long as people defend their endless issues, nothing is going to get fixed.
