The EPA was NEVER created to write its own rules/regulations/ and use the force of law to enforce said laws. This IS the agency enviros use to FORCE their positions, down our throats. And what is actually WORSE when you think about it, there is a Federal EPA, and a state EPA, and all of them are manned for the most part, by enviro kooks! In FACT............do you all understand one of the reasons gasoline is so high? Well, LET ME TELL YOU------> Many people believe that there is 2 kinds of gasoline........40 or 45 state gasoline, and California gasoline that few other states use.
LOL, wrong answer! Many, many states have their own formulation of gasoline that must be used, put in by their state EPA. In essence, gasoline made for Kansas, can not LEGALLY be sold in New York, Texas, or most other states. The state EPA will NOT allow it! So IF a state is hit by a disaster, they just can't call up another state flush with gasoline stocks, and ask to have the excess shipped there to alleviate the shortage. Think about that for a minute....think!
You can fill up your car in Nevada, then drive it full of Nevada fuel to California to visit Yosemite. They will NOT turn away your tourist dollars, trust me, lol. But, they get hit by an earthquake and gasoline stocks fall out of the tanks into the ground.....nope, forget about it......no gas for you Californians until the refineries can create wonderful, California blended gasoline.
The Federal and state EPAs are honestly one of the most crooked agency's in Federal/state government. They write rules they can NOT write, they pass EPA laws they can NOT pass, they were NOT elected, so we can NOT throw them out........but we can reign them in. Which is what Trump and Zeldin are trying to do if your read about them eliminating diesel standards, etc.
