The More Things (Democrats) Change….

Fascists are of the Left.
Fascists are fascists first and foremost, and may play footsie with all manner of superficial leanings.

But their fascism is the rational concern of rational people.
Mussolini, an ally of the Nazis, more Leftists.
Highly debatable & ultimately irrelevant.

I don't care about a rapist's alleged/pretend politics; the fact that they're a rapist is my concern, as with fascists.
FDR, the Socialist Saint of the Democrats, imposed Mussolini's entire economic plan on America s the New Deal.
FDR was the fascist darling of corporate conservatives.
So...yup......Democrats .....Leftists.
You couldn't be more wrong, but it's ultimately irrelevant.

Fascism is the danger, not the mask it may wear.

It's all hair-splitting really.

Ultimately, there have been all manner of bad actors around forever, and they've had all manner of different titles.

King, pharaoh, dictator, president, shah, emperor - you name it.

The idea that leftism (or conservatism if you were making that argument) is somehow the core evil identifiable in thousands of years of human misconduct is off base.

….the more they mirror their origins.

1.The ideas and values of the modern Democrat Party come directly from the revolution…..no, not the American Revolution, the French Revolution. The may be summarized as

a. no private property (environmentalism is another way of regulating property out of private ownership).

b. terror and violence as public policy. Note the over 12 thousand riots, assaults, arsons, acts of domestic terrorism authorized and incited by the Democrat Party in the run-up to the election, including the provocation on Jan6.

c. resentment and hostility toward the Judeo-Christian religion, and the substitution of worship of government.

2.By the 19th century the spearhead was resistance to kings, tsars, and emperors that mobilized the masses behind promises of liberty and freedom. Of course, any study of the French Revolution would show that in reality, anarchism, socialism, and, of course, Karl Marx’s communism produced death and destruction and simply replaced one tyrant with another.

3. Never lose sight of the fact that from the radicals of the French Revolution to this day, every extremist, radical movement has been on the Left. There is no Far Right in this country, only a Far Left, and that is the Democrat Party: from hatred of religion, to opposition to private property, violence for disagreements, excessive taxation, racism, men can be women, and become pregnant….it is always the Democrats.

4. When government agrees to the Left’s policies….they still go for the throat. Here, the 19th century:

“Alexander II (Russian: Алекса́ндр II Никола́евич, tr. Aleksándr II Nikoláyevich, IPA: [ɐlʲɪˈksandr ftɐˈroj nʲɪkɐˈlajɪvʲɪtɕ]; 29 April 1818 – 13 March 1881)[a] was Emperor of Russia, King of Congress Poland and Grand Duke of Finland from 2 March 1855 until his assassination.[1]

Alexander's most significant reform as emperor was the emancipation of Russia's serfs in 1861, for which he is known as Alexander the Liberator (Russian: Алекса́ндр Освободи́тель, tr. Aleksándr Osvobodytel, IPA: [ɐlʲɪˈksandr ɐsvəbɐˈdʲitʲɪlʲ]). The tsar was responsible for other reforms, including reorganizing the judicial system, setting up elected local judges, abolishing corporal punishment,[2] promoting local self-government through the zemstvo system, imposing universal military service, ending some privileges of the nobility, and promoting university education. After an assassination attempt in 1866, Alexander adopted a somewhat more reactionary stance until his death.”
Alexander II of Russia - Wikipedia

Alexander’s reward for reform was the same pattern from the French Revolution to today’.....he was assassinated.
The Left in any of its forms....must be dealt with in the only fashion they understand.

1. The government has a right and duty to protect the environment under the general welfare clause.

The Democrats have not supported riots and arson. Republicans have instituted numerous acts of violence. They have claimed the attack on the capitol was not a attack even though they were shown barricading the door to keep them out. Right wing fascists have killed more people than Islamic terrorists since Trump took office.

This is a secular nation. Thomas Jefferson made it very clear that there was separation of church and state.

2. None of these events produce tyrants. Tyrants took advantage of the vacuum that these events created which is nothing new.

3. Hitler's Nazi Germany was a right wing fascist movement. There have been many right wing dictatorships in history. Religion has often been marked by violence. The French Inquisitions and the crusades were attempts by Christians to force their religion on others through violence if necessary. Who determines what excessive taxation is. The rich can afford to pay more without going overboard. It is Republicans who are racist, attack gays and transgenders and other groups the far right despises.

4. Try getting back to the 21st century instead of twisting history to suit your purposes. This is a democracy and Alexander was a dictator.

I'm afraid you are correct.
Live & let live does not work with Dems because they insist on everybody conforming to whatever insane idea they come up with.
How do you co-exist with people who are actively trying to strip your rights & run roughshod over every aspect of your life?
They policies they endorse are evil & totalitarian but they shine it up with pretty focus group tested language for the masses. Then they demand everybody bends the knee to their obvious derangement.
Compromising with evil is not a virtue, it just makes you both evil

You are describing you right wing fascist Republicans. You are the ones who cannot live and let live. Someone being a transgender or gay does not hurt you one bit. You want to run roughshod over them. Republicans are doing this to get voters and you use focus group tested themes to fool people into going along. You have inspired people to become killers. The Buffalo shooter sounded exactly like a Republican. You are the ones who are trying to establish a totalitarian regime.

You are the evil that infects this country.

Republicans demand we adhere to their traditionalist identity. That’s part of fascism.

Fascism is Leftism, as their allies, the Nazis were.

They stood for the same aims and principles as the Democrat Party.

Three peas in a pod.

You didn't know that??? You must be a government school grad, huh?

Nazis were nationalists. Traditionalists. They adhered to a strict view of what it meant to be a good German. They rejected multiculturalism. They rejected tolerance. They valued strength above all else. Their primary goal was to make Germany great again.

How many times a day do perfect strangers come up to you and call you an imbecile????

Government spending as a percentage of GDP averaged around 40% pre-war. Additionally (at least in the beginning) 80% of the budget was spent on social programs, not the hallmark of an "evil, right wing, capitalist economy." Sign in

Workers Welfare Programs:

In the best passage of Government largess, the Nazi regime fostered a purified liberal concept to enhance the living standard of German citizens across all segments of society. In order to stimulate the spirit of integrity, comradeship and happiness, Adolf Hitler fanned numerous programs and instituted strict rules for officials to carry them in eternal way.

a) Highly Subsidized International vacation trips.

b) Between 1933-1938 Strength through Joy (KDF) movement Organized 134,000 theater and concert events for 32 million people. 2 million people went on cruises and weekend trips and 11 million went on theater trips.

c) Nazis ensured that every citizen had a Radio.

d) 5 day week.

e) Free Public Health.

f) Trade Unions were banned. All workers had to join German labor Front. Strikes for higher wages were banned. People who refused to work were imprisoned. With fall in Inflation, purchasing power increased and wages actually fell.

g) Large factories had to provide rest areas, cafeterias, dressing rooms, even playing fields and swimming pools

h) They also banned "lock outs" for industries. No "reverse strikes"for them either.

1933-1945: In 1933 Hitler disbands the labor movement and strips Jews of citizenship. Jews, dissidents, and other minorities are put in concentration camps, where they are forced to work or killed outright. The Reich centralizes social programs and education as a means of control. The regime extends health insurance to retirees in 1941, and expands health care and maternity leave the following year. Commanding Heights : Germany | on PBS

During the 12 years of Hitler’s Third Reich, the National Socialists expanded and extended the welfare state to the point where over 17 million German citizens were receiving assistance under the auspices of the National Socialist People's Welfare (NSV) by 1939, an agency that had projected a powerful image of caring and support. Welfare state - Wikipedia

The Nazi rule under Adolf Hitler in the 1930s and 1940s led to an improvement in medical care and old age provision largely financed by high taxes on the wealthy, and theft from Jews and the people of the conquered territories (Aly 2007, 7). The Viability of the European Social Model: The German Welfare State and Labor Market Reform

The Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt (NSV), meaning "National Socialist People's Welfare", was a social welfare organization during the Third Reich. The NSV was established in 1933,.... The NSV became established as the single Nazi Party welfare organ in May 1933.[1] .... the programme was massively expanded, so that the régime deemed it worthy to be called the "greatest social institution in the world." One method of expansion was to absorb, or in NSDAP parlance coordinate, already existing but non-Nazi charity organizations. NSV was the second largest Nazi group organization by 1939, second only to the German Labor Front.

The National Socialists provided a plethora of social welfare programs under the Nazi concept of Volksgemeinschaft which promoted the collectivity of a “people’s community” where citizens would sacrifice themselves for the greater good. The NSV operated “8,000 day-nurseries” by 1939, and funded holiday homes for mothers, distributed additional food for large families, and was involved with a “wide variety of other facilities.”[4]

The Nazi social welfare provisions included old age insurance, rent supplements, unemployment and disability benefits, old-age homes, interest-free loans for married couples, along with healthcare insurance, which was not decreed mandatory until 1941[5] One of the NSV branches, the Office of Institutional and Special Welfare, was responsible “for travellers’ aid at railway stations; relief for ex-convicts; ‘support’ for re-migrants from abroad; assistance for the physically disabled, hard-of-hearing, deaf, mute, and blind; relief for the elderly, homeless and alcoholics; and the fight against illicit drugs and epidemics.”

These social welfare programs represented a Hitlerian endeavor to lift the community above the individual while promoting the wellbeing of all bona fide citizens. As Hitler told a reporter in 1934, he was determined to give Germans “the highest possible standard of living.” National Socialist People's Welfare - Wikipedia

Hitler’s Beneficiaries: Plunder, Racial War, and the Nazi Welfare State, by Götz Aly,

While underemphasized by modern historians, this socialism was stressed in many contemporaneous accounts of fascism, especially by libertarian thinkers. F.A. Hayek famously dedicated The Road to Serfdom to “the socialists of all parties”—that is, Labourites, Bolsheviks, and National Socialists.

Ludwig von Mises agreed, arguing in 1944 that “both Russia and Germany are right in calling their systems socialist.”

The Nazis themselves regarded the left-right convergence as integral to understanding fascism. Adolf Eichmann viewed National Socialism and communism as “quasi-siblings,” explaining in his memoirs that he “inclined towards the left and emphasized socialist aspects every bit as much as nationalist ones.” As late as 1944, Propaganda Minister Josef Goebbels publicly celebrated “our socialism,” reminding his war-weary subjects that Germany “alone [has] the best social welfare measures.” Contrast this, he advised, with the Jews, who were the very “incarnation of capitalism.”

Using a farrago of previously unpublished statistics, Aly describes in detail a social system larded with benefits —open only to Aryan comrades, naturally.

According to Götz Aly’s Hitler’s Beneficiaries: Plunder, Racial War, and the Nazi Welfare State, most previous treatments of German complicity in genocide overlook a significant aspect of Nazi rule. Aly, a historian at the Fritz Bauer Institut in Frankfurt and the author of more than a dozen books on fascism, urges us to follow the money, arguing that the Nazis maintained popular support—a necessary precondition for the “final solution”—not because of terror or ideological affinity but through a simple system of “plunder,” “bribery,” and a generous welfare state.

To “achieve a truly socialist division of personal assets,” he writes, Hitler implemented a variety of interventionist economic policies, including price and rent controls, exorbitant corporate taxes, frequent “polemics against landlords,” subsidies to German farmers as protection “against the vagaries of weather and the world market,” and harsh taxes on capital gains, which Hitler himself had denounced as “effortless income.”

“The Nazi leadership did not transform the majority of Germans into ideological fanatics who were convinced that they were the master race,” Aly concludes. “Instead it succeeded in making them well-fed parasites.”

Hitler’s Beneficiaries demonstrates a correlation between moral collapse and government largess.

While Aly’s impressive economic history succeeds in reminding readers that Bolshevism and Nazism were, in the words of historian Richard Pipes, both “heresies of socialism,” that service is ultimately overshadowed by a needlessly radical conclusion." Hitler's Handouts

Nazis, Bolsheviks, Fascists, Democrats.....all cut from the very same Marxist cloth.

  • First, the Nazis copied the Progressives/Democrats Immigration Policies.
  • Only the ‘right races’ welcomed.

“Progressives opposed immigration and enacted several immigration restrictions during the 1920s. Progressives also tried to force immigrants to adopt Progressive moral beliefs.” Progressive Movement - Ohio History Central

And… Immigrant Restrictions During the Progressive Era | Synonym

Hitler lauded the Progressives’ immigration policies.

“By refusing immigration on principle to elements in poor health, by simply excluding certain racesfrom naturalization, it professes in slow beginnings a view which is peculiar to the folkish state concept.”
    “Mein Kampf,” chapter three

  • “Hitler also appealed to the racially exclusionary provisions of U.S. immigration laws, specifically the 1924 Immigration Act that had been pushed by American progressives as a model of enlightened eugenic legislation. “There is today one state,” Hitler noted, “in which at least weak beginning toward a better conception are noticeable. Of course it is not our German Republic but the American union. By refusing immigration on principle to elements in poor health, by simply excluding certain races from naturalization, it professes in slow beginnings a view which is peculiar to the Volkish state concept.” Dinesh D’Souza: What Hitler Learned from the Democrats

How about Franklin Roosevelt's attitude toward other races....?
"This attitude dovetails with what is known about FDR's views regarding immigrants in general and Asian immigrants in particular.... He recommended that future immigration should be limited to those who had "blood of the right sort." FDR's troubling view of Jews

    Sieg Heil, Franklin????

  • Know what else the Nazis learned from the Progressives/Democrats?

“…history of laws against miscegenation—interracial marriage or procreation—in the United States.

Under the influence of Darwinism, racial science and an associated eugenics movement emerged in the late nineteenth century, grew with the Progressive movement, peaked in the 1920s, and disappeared during World War II. (Its enthusiastic embrace by Hitler did not help it…” The Race Against Race

“The Germanic inhabitant of the American continent, who has remained racially pure and unmixed, rose to be master of the continent; he will remain the master as long as he does not fall a victim to defilement of the blood.”
    Adolph Hitler
    Untitled Document

  • “At Nuremberg, the Nazis sought to preserve Nordic racial purity by outlawing racial intermarriage with Jews in much the same manner that Democratic anti-miscegenation laws outlawed racial intermarriage with blacks.” Dinesh D’Souza: What Hitler Learned from the Democrats

    3. Guess were Adolph got the idea for sterilization of ‘undesireables’???
“…Hitler learned from progressive sterilization laws that had been enacted in America through the influence of activists like Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood. “I have studied with great interest the laws of several American states concerning prevention of reproduction by people whose progeny would in all probability be of no value or be injurious to the racial stock.”

Hitler’s views—which closely parallel Sanger’s—provided the basis for the Nazi sterilization laws of 1933 which began by targeting “imbeciles” and the mentally retarded, and later expanded to cover Jews, gypsies, and other social undesirables.” Dinesh D’Souza: What Hitler Learned from the Democrats

  • Hitler wrote to the president of the American Eugenics Society to ask for a copy of his “The Case for Sterilization.”
    (Margaret Sanger and Sterilization)

German race science stood on American progressive’s shoulders.

  • The Nazi Nuremberg Laws were taken nearly wholly from the Jim Crow Laws of the Democrat controlled South.

In “Hitler's American Model: The United States and the Making of Nazi Race Law ,” by James Whitman, he shows how the Nazis took the Democrats’ Jim Crow Laws, simply changed the word ‘black’ and inserted the word ‘Jew.’

“Let’s remember that every segregation law in the South was passed by a Democratic legislature, signed by a Democratic governor, and enforced by Democratic officials. The Nuremberg team carefully studied these laws that were mainly aimed at blacks and used them to formulate their own racist legislation mainly aimed at Jews.” Dinesh D’Souza: What Hitler Learned from the Democrats

  • From the LATimes:
  • “At a crucial 1934 planning meeting for the Nuremberg system, the Minister of Justice presented a memorandum on American law. According to a transcript, he led a detailed discussion of miscegenation statutes from all over the United States. Moreover it is clear that the most radical Nazis were the most eager advocates of American practices. Roland Freisler, who would become president of the Nazi People's Court, declared that American jurisprudence "would suit us perfectly."
When the Nazis wrote the Nuremberg laws, they looked to racist American statutes

Have you ever read a book?????

Book: a written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers.

Fascism is an ideology. Not a policy. Try to post something relevant next time.

No, you moron....it is a policy taken wholy by FDR and imposed on America as the New Deal.

More, you imbecile: Democrat FDR was so in love with Fascism, he called it the New Deal, and imposed it on America.

  1. English and French commentators routinely depicted Roosevelt as akin to Mussolini. A more specific reason why, in 1933, the New Deal was often compared with Fascism was that with the help of a massive propaganda campaign, Italy had transitioned from a liberal free-market system to a state-run corporatist one. And corporatism was considered by elitists and intellectuals as the perfect response to the collapse of the liberal free-market economy, as was the national self-sufficiency of the Stalinist Soviet Union. The National Recovery Administration was comparable to Mussolini’s corporatism as both had state control without actual expropriation of private property.
    1. Mussolini wrote a book review of Roosevelt’s “Looking Forward,” in which he said “…[as] Roosevelt here calls his readers to battle, is reminiscent of the ways and means by which Fascism awakened the Italian people.” Popolo d’Italia, July 7, 1933.
    2. In 1934, Mussolini wrote a review of “New Frontiers,” by FDR’s Sec’y of Agriculture, later Vice-President, Henry Wallace: “Wallace’s answer to what America wants is as follows: anything but a return tyo the free-market, i.e., anarchistic economy. Where is America headed? This book leaves no doubt that it is on the road to corporatism, the economic system of the current century.” Marco Sedda, Il politico, vol. 64, p. 263.

Why do complain about democratic immigration policies from 1920 and then copy them in 2020?

Do you think Democrats are voting for FDR now?

You need a calendar.

You can’t tell the difference between ideology and policy.

There’s no list of policies that makes one fascist. You have to have their ideology.

And you do have their ideology.
