Trump has 3-years for ICE to work on deportations, don't spike the ball too soon.

ICE should work in red states first where the state and local police help them.

During that the Feds need to prosecute "sanctuary city/state" officials for interfering with Federal law enforcement. Then go back in to the blue states with the state and local police helping this time.

All in due time....

i see police all over the world dressed like soldiers including this country.......SWAT Teams look like soldiers joe...open your eyes joe

That's wrong, too. The militarization of our police is a real problem.

But those cops aren't going into neighborhoods, kicking in doors without warrents, and rounding people up like the Gestapo.

Rounding up CRIMINALS Joe, not "people". There is a difference.

If Biden hadn't let 400,000 convicted criminals into the US ICE wouldn't have to round them up.

No dumbass. The word "lawfare" means misusing the law to prosecute political opponents for non-crimes.
Well, that may be the accepted definition. But, as I said, when you folks use it you turn the word on its head. There's no question at all trump committed crimes. Have you read Jack Smith's indictments of him?

You're going to have to back that up with some facts for once, my friend.

The very fact that Trump is retreating from the Blue Cities because it isn't playing well says a lot.

That he has to go into a 'safe space" isn't going to help much, either.

Even a place in Idaho is upset about ICE's tactics.

But when federal agents swarmed the track on Oct. 19 — weapons drawn, a helicopter overhead, unmarked S.U.V.s screeching in on dirt roads — they did more than crack an alleged gambling ring and increase deportation numbers. They shattered Wilder’s innocent belief that its out-of-the-way location and deep-red politics could isolate the town from the raids overtaking other parts of the country.

“We rely on Hispanic labor,” said Chris Gross, a second-generation farmer who grows sweet corn seed and mint in Wilder. She added, “Nobody thought something like this could happen here.”

Beyond the economic impact, there is the social one — the profound sense of uncertainty and suspicion that has filtered down, even to a town like Wilder, Idaho.

The raid “nearly destroyed” the community, said David Lincoln, a longtime Wilder resident and executive director of a nonprofit economic development agency serving rural towns in western Idaho. Wilder won’t really know the impact until planting season begins this spring.

Jack Smith has no more legal authority than Taylor Swift. Classic lawfare. What happened to those "indictments"?

There are zero documented cases of sanctuary city/state officials interfering with Federal law enforcement. Feel free to link an adjudicated case. One judge in the Midwest was convicted for helping a person escape out the side door to avoid ICE. That was an outlier and he was prosecuted. You are lying. Prove you are not lying. I'll wait.

You don't stop being a person because you committed some minor offense.

If Trump was only going after Criminals, we wouldn't have an issue.

But only 14% of the people he's rounded up in MN have violent criminal offenses on their records.

Which doesn't make up for the legal immigrants and CITIZENS the ICEstapo is rounding up for being the wrong color or merely recording what they are doing.

OK
"According to this newly shared ICE data on illegal immigrants, there are 425,431 convicted criminals and 222,141 with pending criminal charges. Those include: 62,231 convicted of assault, 14,301 convicted of burglary, 56,533 with drug convictions, and 13,099 convicted of homicide."

I see what you did there. Smith's appointment has no bearing on the factual information he assembled of trump's crimes in the indictments.

Ok, so ID needs to let in "legal" migrant workers for the next planting season.

Horseshit.

Yep. Because the "factual information" is legally nothing.

So, hypothetically, you believe if a person who commits a crime gets off on a technicality it means the crime was never committed?

If MN would honor ICE detainers and hand over criminals for deportation there wouldn't be ICE in the streets trying to find and re-arrest them. Two MN citizens would still be alive as Senator Hawley stated.
MN state government is corrupt and needs to be cleaned up.

Ellison has long been a target of Republicans. He was one of the Minnesota officials subpoenaed by the Justice Department in January over allegations that state officials interfered with the federal immigration operation. The attorney general has filed several lawsuits since the immigration enforcement operation began, challenging the federal government’s actions in the state.

Wrong. You are lying.
Fail! Show me a conviction. If it is rampant there must be a conviction somewhere. Anyone can lob an accusation. I mean... one single conviction... anywhere?
