Media are attempting to provoke a wide scale emotional response to the event in order to raise their chances of success in forwarding their overall agenda in support of the Democrats.

They will run this into the ground as long as they can.

If families of the victims are having to turn their phones off or unplug them for those who still use land line phones, then yes, a line is being crossed. As far as continuing to talk about what has happened, people are free to find another station to watch or listen to whenever they want.
