The market is starting to collapse

I’d agree with the last statement and add he probably had insider information as well. Most day traders have a great day, month, year occasionally. Eventually, they make mistakes that cost them. I once hired a securities rep who once hob nobbed with Sandy Weil back in the 60’s. While Sandy bought and held, bought and held until he owned Citigroup the other guy owned his own corporation but made a series of bad day trading investments and lost his company and everything else. I know many others who did well and eventually lost. One of clients who was investing with me for the long term said that he would day trade with money he didn’t need to live on now and at retirement time. Sometimes like the person you know gets lucky.
One thing about day trading that is key. Day trading is totally based on computers and algorithms. If you know what those do to day trade, you can have a lot of success. You have no idea how telling the 200 1-minute MA is. Over and over, I have seen that line be reached during the day and hold, and when broken, the stock or index move strongly in the opposite direction. One other thing about day trading and that is that being right or wrong is not important. What is important is making more money than is lost at the end of the day

Sigh ... That would be because you cannot read what I am saying without trying to fight it, or me ...
But that would be another discussion ... And I don't feel like explaining it again ... If you're not going to listen.

Funny thing is ... That's part of the challenge I already described.
How about you just go back to managing your thread ... And I'll try to figure out a better way to fail ... :auiqs.jpg:

.
Whatever. End of discussion

He accept your challenged and knocked it out of the park, and now you are wondering about... what?
.

You might remember when I told you ... That he is better at this and smarter than you ...
Although I'll admit there is a good possibility you didn't understand that.

Which would be evident ... If when he tells me he doesn't understand what I was talking about ...
You somehow think you could possibly have a better understanding.

So, in light of those two observations ... If you just want to be his cheerleader ...
Do us all a favor and don't put a skirt on ... Please ... :auiqs.jpg:

.

Whatever. End of discussion
.

You don't have to tell me ... Or maybe you do ... But we're not going into that ...
So just get back to managing your thread ... Run along now ... Please ... :auiqs.jpg:

....

Edit:
If you're going to watch the market today ... And maybe capitalize on your efforts ...
Visionary Holding Inc. and Aditxt Inc ... Are looking pretty good in the short term.

Nike could be a pretty good buy ... Especially if you are planning on holding it for a while ...
And are more comfortable with common stocks ... But not like I am going to buy them ...
Because I don't necessarily like their trade practices.

Most (if not all) of the movement down seen the last 2 weeks, has been due to Trump's action.

"Trump's action'' is too vague of a way to make the point that you're trying to make.

If you guys are done...lol. It's like this. Truth destroys confidence. Generally speaking, as there's always some wingnut who will look for ways to overcome. As DOGE uncovers more and more fraud and waste the more the truth comes out.

Historically speaking, this is the point when business...and empires...end.

Naturally, confidence will break as all of this is uncoverd. Treasuries, especially foreign interests in them, becomes less and less of interest, as all the fraud and waste being exposed becomes countrproductive to acquiring them.

That, just as a single example to provide the gist of what I mean by truth destroying confidence.

It would be up to those who have interest in topics like these to think it through much further and escape the paramater of the little box.

There's no real accounting today. If they did all of this decades ago when there was, then maybe it wouldn't have the effect of dropping ball bearings in yur crankcase. Maybe...

Leet me explain something that is education 101 with humans.

Humans are by nature liars, frauds, and corrupt. When you say that Trump and Musk are finding fraud and waste, it goes without saying because if you look closely, you can find fraud and waste in each and every administration. As such, the probabilities favor the fraud and waste from the last administration is going to be replaced (not thrown out) by Trump's and Musk's fraud and waste.

What is worse, is given that Musk and Trump (especially the latter) have shown huge amount of waste and fraud in the past, chances are that the fraud and waste "to come" will be larger and more hidden, given that both (especially Trump) are proven liars.

Last but not least and already being proven, is that what they say is not all that true and real. That they have lied about how much fraud and waste they have found,

Both Trump and Musk have shown incompetence (Musk with X and Trump on numerous occasions with many failed companies) and as such, their actions are going to be by nature destructive and not constructive.

End of story

That's a pretty good point right there ... And coincides with how Economics ...
Is just as much a study of Human Behavior.

You can describe the mechanisms that provide the 'truth' ... And I can tell you how that destroys the 'confidence' ...
While at the same time creating 'counter-truths' and 'defensive postures'.

A 'truth' can severely threaten a person's 'stability' and 'security' ... And that's one of the three Basic Primal Needs.
That's going to have an effect in the Market ... And through a loss of 'confidence'.

However ... People will also become understandably 'defensive' ... And struggle in attempts to maintain their existing ideology ...
Because that's where they 'felt safer' ... Before you threw a monkey wrench at them.

The Market just needs time to 'correct' itself ...

....

And since there wasn't anything really lighthearted and funny in that ...
I'm going to have to leave you with this ... :auiqs.jpg:

It’s weird that so many people don’t understand business and entrepreneurs. You use the word incompetence in connection with failed businesses when that is not usually the reason for failure.

In Trumps case, it is. The only industry that Trump has been successful in has been Real Estate. He has failed everywhere else. He failed with casinos. Who ever fails with casinos?

You are no better than PoliticalChic, and she is so mediocre.

Lost more jobs last month than any in the last 15 years. Only 77000 jobs created. Musk swining like a wrecking ball in the federal work force. The markets are in distress.

And you just yammer and stammer.

The market was due a correction ... And it is correcting itself.

And whatever opinion you may have concerning any of the other garbage you mentioned ...
Has no influence over that ... Unless you are actively investing in the Market ... And are intending to buy or sell ... :auiqs.jpg:

BULLSHIT!! The economy was growing under Niden.
Sure, by satisfying pent-up demand from the Covid years with borrowed money.

"Consumer debt in the United States increased in 2024. Household debt across all categories grew by 4.3% from Q2 2023 to Q2 2024. Total consumer debt balances increased to $17.80 trillion in 2024, up 9.86% from the previous year. Mortgage debt accounted for 73.3% of total U.S. consumer debt."

Right now we're still in standard correction territory, only about 7% down. The S&P is sitting right on top of its 200 day moving average.

The longer term outlook looks a little shitty, but that's not set in stone. A few good earnings reports could keep this under control.

Everything has become so unstable so quickly, and the market was overbought. That's a bad combination.

This could be a pretty bumpy ride for a while.

Lots of money on the sidelines just drooling for the opportunity to get in. Deep lows make for fast fortunes. I may even get in myself if the DJ goes low enough.

You are supposing you know. You really don’t know. Casinos do fail. For many reasons. I used to love the Golden Nugget in Vegas. Things change. When they do, you shut it down and go do something else. It’s not always about keep going when you are an entrepreneur. I know several successful MLM entrepreneurs who started a company, sold it or dropped it to do something else. When you have money you can do this. Also, competition weeds out companies all the time. It has nothing to do with competency. The fact is, Trump is a multi billionaire and you are not. So, you have to trash his success.
