The Many Lies Of The Left

Mike Huckabee left the Democrat Party when they decided to add abortion to their Party Platform. Most Christians did. What I find fascinating is that the organization Margaret Sanger started to rid the world of socially undesirable people (Planned Parenthood) is not only supported by the Democrat Party, but that so many blacks support it even though one of Sanger's primary goals was to keep the black population in check (and eventually eliminate them). Planned Parenthood continues to keep the black population around the 13% level and blacks support the very political party that keeps it afloat. I guess LBJ had it right when he explained why the Civil Rights Bill was so important to him: "I'll have them ******* voting Democratic for two hundred years!" Amazing how people can be so brainwashed that they support the very people who wish to eradicate them.

you are using Crusader Frank's quote of lbj....can you LINK it? Because I have searched from hell to high water for a legitimate source for that quote and there IS NOT ONE, at least not one that I can find.

Care

Who or what is Crusader Frank?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! oh, he was/is a poster here....he had that quote in his sig line, i asked him to supply a legit source, he never did.

Oh. I seem to remember him. The quote comes from a phone conversation with Sen. Russell(D) of Georgia. It's on tape at the LBJ Library. You'll need to get permission to listen to it:

Boy, are you ever right. Look at all the jobs the Conservative policys created in 2008 and 2009.

But Whom had the power since 2006-2007? Whom had the gavels?

Wasn't Conservatives by any stretch of the imagination. And that includes the 'Compassionate Conservative' POTUS of the time.

seriously? Are republicans conservatives? Cuz dems did not take control until 2007 and we were already in a downslide?

True, and Republicans felt the sting of defeat bigtime. (AND THEY DESERVED IT). And I fear a fight in that party will ensue old guard vs (CRINGE) Tea Party supported folks that got elected.

The problem with the Republican Party is that there are many residuals of the 'Blue-Blood' elitists left in the party that have taken the party OFF the Conservative path, and made the party look like Democrat-Lite, and side with politics as usual...and only want power which is against true Conservative Doctrine.

True Conservatives reflect what the Founders/Framers envisioned and that was citizen legislators that would be elected, leave thier true professions, go reperesent for a term, and then return to their professions and give it to someone else to represent the interests of thier States/Communities.

In other words? Politics wasn't supposed to be a full time profession.

*STATESMEN*

How muddled it has become.

With the new crop of Tea Party supported folks? WE will see how many true Conservatives there are.

To answer your question? Truthfully? I'd have to say NO. There aren't but save a very few.

As to the Downslide? Hell? This nation has been on that ride for decades...close to 100 years now.

And I nor you do I suspect have time for a long disertation about that.

Point being? The grand experiment of a Republic (Not Democracy), has been sullied a long time ago. Damaged.

For me? I still belive in it, but the damage incurred has taken a century...and will take that long if not longer to undo. Out biggest task and the arguemnt we currently find ourselves entangled, is to stop the bleeding of the Grand experiment... lest we slide the way of the EU, or worse...and find ourselves as Rome and other great societies ultimately became...

A lie is a lie. The difference is does the liar know he's lying when he does so.

Many won't cut Bush the same slack.

Everyone in Congress, the CIA, and every intelligence agency in the world said Saddam was building WMDs. They said that he had them.
"Iraq does not represent any threat to the United States at this time. Their weapons programs have been exaggerated by the Clinton Administration."
- Tom Delay, 1999

"We are now convinced Saddam has no weapons of mass destruction or active programs."
- President Bill Clinton, August 9th, 2000

"We do not have any direct evidence that Iraq has used the period since Desert Fox to reconstitute its WMD programs"
-George Tenet, 2/07/2001

"We believe the sanctions have been effective, and Saddam Hussein's regime has no weapons of mass destruction."
-Condoleeza Rice, February 16th, 2001

"Containment has been achieved, and we now believe Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction or the capability of producing them."
- Colin Powell, February 23rd, 2001

"He has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors"
-Colin Powell, 2/24/2001

Not that I condone lying in the past, but it's been almost 10 years since we had this debate. Can we just leave it in the past?
You might have some credibility if you had made this post when mudDipshit had first posted this. But waiting until after I exposed his lie is just a dodge.

Then my friend? You aren't paying attention and have little understanding of what you speak.

I know plenty about it. There is little of Jesus in modern day Christianity.

That's like saying there's little of hitting in modern day football.

What the hell are you smoking bud? I want some.

Ha, ha, ha. Wow. You exposed my lie?

That's news to me.:lol::lol::lol:

Btw, Bush went into Iraq for several reasons, not just WMDs like you fools claim he did. The reasons have been explained untold number of times and of course you fuckwads keep ignoring them.

So sad when Cons post after hitting the sauce.

Funny thing is, I didn't have to get drunk to type this up, nor did I have to make a word of it up.:eusa_angel:

Maybe you folks need to, but I don't.

Yes you did. So lets start at the beginning

Stimulus didn't create jobs: Wrong. It actually held jobs in place and helped states cover their deficits. Texas used the stimulus to cover up most their deficits. It preserved 3.5 million jobs meaning more money in the economy to spend to help preserve and create jobs. We are starting to come out of it now. If that wasn't passed, we would be in a worse position that we are currently.

So you claim I was wrong. I said it didn't create jobs and you only talked about how many jobs were "saved" or preserved, which you can't even prove. Who knows what really saved the imaginary jobs you mentioned. How many billions did it cost the tax payer to temporarily save those jobs, and when the money ran out what happened to these so-called "saved" jobs?
He ended combat operations in Iraq, something Bush never did.
No, Obama just said combat operations are over, he didn't end combat operations in Iraq. He just changed what it was called. Oh, and the withdrawals were according to a Bush agreement that was already in the works. An agreement the Obama Administration attempted to stop before he took office. The Iraq President said that Obama came to him and asked him not to make any agreements with the Bush Administration and mentioned the withdrawal plan specifically.
Bush never found Bin Laden.
He stopped looking. Bin Laden is ether dead or has been rendered completely ineffective. He cannot show his face anywhere in the world if he is alive. That didn't stop Obama from saying we must look for him where he's not, in Afghanistan.

The Health Care bill may not cut the costs it intended to but right now, people with pre-existing conditions get health insurance. So many good things in this bill. Are their thing in their that Democrats don't like? Of Course but every damn time we tried to compromise, the Health Insurance party said screw the people. We are with our best friends, the insurance companies.

So, you agree that the whole reason to pass a bill was a lie. Instead what the Obama Administration did was get rid of the single most important aspect of insurance in the first place, pre-existing conditions, changing it from insurance to a benefit and throwing the burden onto private companies. People will get around this pre-existing conditions aspect by going cheap. They'll simply join the minute they need insurance.

FYI, The only way insurance can work is if a number of beneficiaries pay into it but never make a claim. Doing it any other way will cause costs to sky-rocket.

So he isn't allowed to go on vacation? Bush went on a record number of vacations.

Record number? Who says? Well, if Bush set a record Obama broke it in the first year.

And the Federal Judge is not president. He doesn't have to listen to want a judge wants and his political views. If every president had to, they would listen to everyone the opposite party put in. If a federal judge ruled that Bush had to pull the troops out of Iraq, should Bush have done it?

So you're saying that Obama is the one person in America that is above the law?

Regardless of his title he still has to follow our laws. A federal judge has the power of the courts behind him and any judgment must be followed or appealed. If a federal judge issues a ruling it becomes the law and establish precedent for all court cases to follow. If you think Obama is a king, then you would be right. He doesn't have to listen to a federal judge if he's a king.

Btw, no judge ruled that Bush had to pull troops out of Iraq because no case was brought before him requesting such action. And nobody would bring such a case before a judge because that would be against the constitution. It would be summarily thrown out.

Social Security is solvent until 2037. So right now its fine, it will need to increase the rate to pay for retirees but right now they get $13000 a year so its not like senior citizens are liviing high and mighty. They need to have supplemental income on that.

You admit that it isn't, unless they raise rates, so Harry Reid lied.
The Tea Party has some racists people in there factions just as the Muslim Brotherhood has some radical factions in their groups. But you call the Muslim brotherhood radical and we will call the tea party racist. Fair?

You're welcome now come back to reality.

I'm sure there are some people in the Tea Party that are racists. However the Tea Party platform doesn't mention race as a factor in anything. And comparing the extremism of the Muslim Brotherhood to anything the Tea Party stands for is lunacy. So why don't you come back to reality dip-shit.

Mud has been talking about the current administration. Not rehashing a decade old debate that you lost.

oh good, you learn how to post longwinded nothings....

BTW dipshit pulling out of Iraq, obama is using Bush's exit plan.
You stupid fuckhole.

WOW! Looks like someone needs a MIDOL!!!

I've been there. (I lived in Texas for 5 years.) LBJ was making the comment.

LBJ was a racist pure and simple. You should go to a Presidential library sometimes. They keep all this information, although some of the newer Presidents like Clinton are a bit more discreet. For some sensitive information like this, you have to get special permission to access it. You can get access to it if you wish.

Care, I encourage you to get out more and seek the truth. Don't just sit behind your computer and expect to get all the answers from google searches.

Actually, no, that kind of comparison would not hold any merit. Modern day Christians fail to understand or honor the examples of Jesus or his teachings. Where Jesus was inclusionary, modern day Christians are exclusionary. Where Jesus said to "render unto Caesar....render unto God," most modern day Christians seek to render to God that which is Caesar's and render unto Caesar that which is God's. Whereas Jesus said to pray in private in your bedroom, modern day Christians want prayer in school. Where Jesus taught to turn the other cheek, most Christians want to go get the bastards and show them whose god is more powerful. Where Jesus was a devout Jew, most Christians reject the practices of Judaism as an "old covenant."

One falacy the left tends to perpetrate is that Conservatives are only Republicans. Many are democrats. The NASCAR fan that goes hunting and fishing and attends church and votes in the D column come hell or high-water cuz pappy voted D and Grandpappy voted D is whom I speak of.

Also, Muslims are Conservative. Jesus was a conservative. They often attempt to claim he wasn't, but he was as conservative as they come.

Really? So trashing the Temple and rebelling against the state are acts of a conservative? Anyway, what does that have to do with anything?

I don't think he was that specific. He said Jesus was not in Christianity or something to that effect. He didn't say anything about Jewish customs and traditions being absent in Christianity.

He gave the impression Jesus was missing in modern day Christianity.
