Pardon me, but your ignorance of statistics is showing.

If you look at the comparisons of each country by 90th and 10th percentiles, you will see the 90th percentile for the US is exactly the same as the average for all of the countries, meaning our best students are equal to the average of all the best students in the world.

Furthermore, math is a difficult comparison because of differences in curriculums, ages of the students being tested, and so many other factors, that many countries stopped participating because the inherent bias.

To put it short and simple, you have a nothing burger.

Back when I was teaching, the TIMSS study selected schools to be tested in the US and they chose an inner-city school in Baltimore to be representative of the US. You have probably read many posts on this forum about the horrible results in the Baltimore schools, haven't you? How do you think that worked out for the US test scores?
