I love that Trump addressed the Independent faction of the US, like me, during his inaugural speech. Finally a president who recognizes us truly forgotten American's. He assuaged some of my concerns that he'd tilt too far to the right's demands.

His speech is full of CONTORTIONS. It's not a speech of unity but to hold on to his supporters. Using the same original fire brand style of insulting Americans during his campaign is not the speech that majority of Americans expected.

1. Economy has always been good or better in last 4 years with 4.8 unemployment.
2. Military is always been good or better with new largest carrier and more most sophisticated war ships launched in last 2 years far better than Russia or China combined.
3. Buy Americans and Hire Americans............ Trump's winery in Virginia just hired 6 foreigner workers for his winery. Just imagine how *AWFUL* is that.

For Trump supporters like you that won't matter. That is very SAD.
Look at the massive protest all over US and other countries.

3. First off, Trump doesn't do the hiring himself, not to mention he has /nothing/ to do with his businesses now - Direct your complaints to the Trump kids as it's their department now. Secondly, the reason that companies hire foreigners is often cost and talent. Tell me, who are these 6 workers? Are they per chance specialists from Italy or France? Yes hiring American's should be the ultimate goal, but there are also times when you want an authentic French chef. I don't know the story about these winery workers and I doubt you do either - but I'm sure you'll chose the worst option because you don't like the Trump family. Hopefully Trump cleans up the visa situation because the Dem's made a damned mess of it.

Older workers let go in the Oblamo years are probably out of Unemployment benefits. If one has assets (savings? home? IRA? 401K?), you don't get food stamps or Welfare. Maybe the wife still works?

An experienced worker has a lot of trouble to get a new job going. If you apply for "lesser" they put you in garbage can. If you apply for "similar" they say.........ooooh I have to pay old guys health care. I want NCG (NewCollegGrad) or a Green card, cheaper and easier to work to death.

Do you exist (or counted) anymore if you are "off the books" but still looking for work? Are you still an American Human? Are you worth less than a muslim import or illegal immigrant?

It should be a most interesting period in our history and at times pretty funny. The question facing Republicans is will Trump's presidency cause the Republican party enough damage for the party to fold its tent and join the other failed parties?

Don't pricking tell me he cannot find local seasonal workers for his wineries. I've been to several winemakers or vineyard like Napa Valley or Temecula wineries. These jobs are easy compared to apple, lettuce or strawberry farm workers.
