B. Maybe both sides are willing to embrace reality on this issue? While I am not for banning pornography (and by pornography I mean legal, consenting adults), the studies on this issue are undeniable. It is having a profound negative affect on society. People are requiring therapy in record numbers. Women are being assaulted in record numbers. But as I state with everything else - that's a small price to pay for liberty. We shouldn't have a nanny state because some idiot can't control their porn habit and require therapy. And women - while my heart goes out to them - can engage in a host of personal responsibility actions which can greatly reduce (or even eliminate) their chances of becoming a statistic. Lift weights, take self-defense classes, carry self-defense tools (firearms, tasers, knives, mace, etc.), hire personal security details, and more.

Actually, they are all for “free speech” as long as what you mean by that is pornography or other things that are degrading, deviant, and immoral. If by free speech, you mean the expressions of important beliefs and opinions, even if you disagree with them, then no, they are not so fond of free speech after all.

Studies have proven the detrimental effect of pornography on society. That causes some people to be all bent out of shape about it. I am not one of them. If there are people who can't have healthy relationships because of their pornography addition - fuck 'em. That's their own problem. Just like we shouldn't financially bail idiots out of their own poor decisions, we shouldn't regulate what people see because of their own bad decisions.

Everyone should be free to do what they want in accordance with the U.S. Constitution (of course) and it should be required that they deal with the results of their own decisions. No free healthcare because someone wanted to put heroin in their veins instead of going to work, no free housing because someone couldn't handle their shit, and no taking away access to porn because some people are idiots.

That's how conservatives operate. The left has trouble grasping this because it is their nature to immediately call for control and banning (as all fascists do).

Your approach just favors the rich, while mine favors the other 90% of the country, provides for first world standards and is by far the better one for human rights.

In your dreams maybe. As we have seen single payer heath care for example in VT and Calif have driven costs thru the roof. The left wing is trying drive conservatives out of the media, speaking at college campuses etc. Try again.

In nations like Germany, France, Japan, Taiwan, and other first world industrial nations with universal single payer health care, the cost per citizen is only 1/2 to 3/4's of the cost per citizen in the US. And their results are far superior to ours.

Their results are not far superior. It's a good for the majority, bad for the minority situation. If it was superior, then world leaders would be going there for healthcare, they do not they come here. In the U.S. When grandpa needs a new knee, he gets a new knee fast and effectively. In the U.K. grandpa gets a cane and pain killers until he is unable to walk on the cane, then he waits at least 5 weeks to get a new knee and has a higher chance of dying from a nosocomial infection. It's good for the average joe who has a fever, and needs your everyday type treatment, but if average joe is having a heart attack, in London he's waiting 3 hours for an ambulance. 60% of the UK works in healthcare, and most of the healthcare jobs deal with processing paperwork alone. And with 60% of the population working in one industry alone...they still have much longer wait times for appointments. That's what happens when there is a single entity controlling an entire industry. The left loves to complain about monopolies, but for some reason what to give government of monopoly over almost everything. And the worst part is government has LESS incentive to run efficiently, or to provide better service. It's one single solution for all, vs hundreds upon 1000s of solutions tailored for niches and individuals.

The problem in the American system, is not the "free market system", the problem is it is no longer a free market system and hasn't been for a very long time. Healthcare is one of the most regulated industries in America. And what those regulations have done is help insurance companies corner their markets. Ever wonder why you have to get insurance through work, and your work MAYBE gives 3 different options of care? It's ridiculous. And we've further restricted the markets with ACA, and what happened, premiums went way up, as well as tax burdens (going way against what was promised) and actual coverage shrunk in deductibles going sky high. What's the point of having insurance if you're spending the first 5 grand out of pocket if something happens. We confused health insurance with actual healthcare and for the first time in 50 years are life expectancy actually fell.

B. I don't advocate deporting people born in the U.S. There is no where to deport them except right back to the U.S.
