If you look close at the socialists who called themselves fascists.........they had the same plans as all the other socialists...they just wore different uniforms......

Well, Berny Sanders is not that kind of Marxian socialist. He is for a more humanitarian and democratic friendly socialism that is at worst a very light version of Fabian socialism.

But young people today cannot believe that at one time in our society that poeople like George Bernard Shaw argued that people should have to justify their existence or that minority people were 'human weeds'.

But they did and much of the mid 20th century leftists ideology is based on the disrespect for human life and that still carries through to our time.

It is the socialists like bernie who centralize government power that eventually gives the real socialists the administrative state to take all power...and to open up their death camps.......

We have to stop socialism now...future generations will suffer if we don't.

Alleged comedienne Sarah Silverman, dressed as Hitler, appeared on Thursday's late night show with Conan O’Brien in a failed attempt to capitalize on the media's obsession with equating the GOP frontrunner with the most evil man in history.

I have news for Sarah Silverman: it isn't fine to compare any lawmaker or presidential candidateoperatingwithin our U.S. political system to Adolf Hitler. You aren't funny. You are not even original. And the fact that you are Jewish does not give you a free pass.

As a rule, I tend not to skewer comedians (or alleged comedians). They are often political, and often unfunny. And that's fine. I don't have to agree with them. The greater issue here is the psychosis currently gripping media, celebrity, and even fellow conservatives when it comes to the topic of Donald Trump.

This is dangerous ground on which to tread and reminds me of the knee-jerk reactions leftists had in crying "Racist!" anytime a person opposed Barack Obama on the basis of substance. So now Trump can be smeared as Hitler in much the same way, and anyone who supports him can be shamed as a person who "would have helped Hitler carry out the Holocaust."

And this is part of what led to the riotous protests at the Trump rally in Chicago.

Sanders form of socialism, aka Nordic Socialism, is not Marxist socialism, i.e. it does not require the state to own all means of production or heavy industrial production.

It simply takes the view that the state needs to act as referee, magistrate, standards maker and regulator of the markets for them to work properly and efficiently. His argument that the upper 20% should pay more from what they they have as excess income toward the betterment of society as a whole. At a minimum he, and I, would argue that we should have no regressive taxation where those who can less afford taxes pay more in taxes,a s we have things today, when all federal taxes are taken into account, and this is chiefly due to the cap on FICA tax, which should be completely removed, and not simply raised.

In return the wealthy still get higher benefits from Social Security due to their higher level of contribution during their working careers. Right now I qualify for about $2000 a month when I retire and the benefits should likewise go up for those who pay in more, but at a decreasing rate of return. This is in part a civic duty and we all benefit from a more stable society that goes along with eliminating dire poverty and gives all of us a little cash when we can work no longer.

None of this is communism or even Marxism and long predate both. In fact 'social security' as a concept began with Otto von Bismark, the arch-Conservative of Imperial Germany, lol.
