ON THE SAME DAY, I once had two different college professors say,

(Philosophy) "Everyone owes it to himself to occasionally ponder suicide; Is my life really worth it?" and

(Psychology) "Anyone who even considers suicide is mentally ill, and needs to get help immediately.

I thought about, but did not, suggest that they get together.

A number of years ago, my grandad hung himself on Xmas day.

Out of respect and tradition, we didn't take him down until the 6th January.
