You berate the right for being bitter over the past treatment of Bush and the current treatment of everyone not a liberal.

Go ahead actually show us some leadership. Stop being petty and vindictive, stop making shit up. Stop name calling and lying about who and why people are protesting. Stop playing the race card every chance you get.

Actually show us the supposed leadership you want to inspire.

Get your Congressman, Senators and the President to actually show some leadership instead of petty bully tactics and Chicago style politics.

I realize this will not happen, but for once in your adult life act like a leader and not a partisan hack. YOU control the Country, you have 265 votes in the House, 59 votes in the Senate and the President is a Democrat. Quit claiming Republicans are blocking anything and admit you have the power. If you can not pass things it is not because of Republicans, it is because DEMOCRATS do not agree with your policies and plans, with your legislation and your bills.

Quit claiming that 55 Republican Senators ran the whole show under Bush but 60 and now 59 Democrats ( with independents) can not do the same. GROW the hell up and act like leaders.

the libertarians will never support single payer or the public "option". They would do everything you hate. they will deregulate everything and CUT every social program you can think of. Medicare and Medicaid/welfare would be abolished by them, for example.

Which is why I said may. It would depend on the candidate. However, if it came to that, I wouldn't vote for them. I was talking more Socially than Fiscally.

The Democrats and Obama in particular need to start showing leadership. The republicans are just a distraction with their fear mongering and mistruths. The Dems need to whip their members into line and stop playing the consensus game. republicans will not vote for healthcare regardless of whats in it.

Obama needs to be a leader, take this bill into a back room, pound out a deal and drive it home. Stop trying to make everyone happy and get it done

s0n.......not for nothing, but you have the poltical IQ of a small soap dish.
Of course the majority of the Democrats in congress are liberal.........some who hail from districts with slim majorities may at times have to walk a fence in terms of votes, but the majority have liberal voting records = they are liberal. Blue dog Democrats are few in number, relatively speaking.............so please with the lectures.................

Even "Blue Dog" Democrats arent truly fiscally conservative. They might make it appear as much but only on votes that might put their ass in a sling with their constituents..............but in terms of ideology, these people are liberal. Perhaps not "progressive" but they are liberal.
