Not the least bit illegal. I used to love Cheez-Whiz sandwiches made with Wonder bread when I was a kid. Would eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. Probably why I can't stand the stuff now..

Velveeta, when combined with some other stuff, makes *awesome* homemade mac & cheese... By itself, not so much. Too salty.

Somehow when I was a kid, I heard they were *ahem* waste products. Never could eat that stuff. I like 'real' cheese! Granted it doesn't always stay melted.
